I'm doing a simple test right now comparing the hcigar clones in Copper, Brass and Stainless using a rda at .067 ohms and freshly charged VTC5 battery.

Copper: 4.20 volts, 3.97 w/atty, .23 drop
Brass: 4.19 volts, 3.93 w/atty, .26 drop
S.S.: 4.18 volts, 3.74 w/atty, .44 drop
Aluminum tube with SS switch and top cap: 4.17 volts, 3.65 w/atty, .52 drop

Now fact is this is not really accurate since I did double hits with just the battery then double with the atty picking the lowest if not the same. In my opinion if less than 2 volt drop you probably won't notice much difference really and less than .5 volts if you do then you have better senses than I do for sure.

joecil - you are awesome.

Thanks but had all 3 setup and ready to go when I saw your tread so figure it only took a minute or two. I normally run these with Kick 2 also.

I have a feeling if I had taken the time to clean up the stainless one a bit before testing it might of done better also though still would lag behind the copper and brass. I use the stainless daily and don't clean the contacts as often as the brass and copper. I clean them after using while the stainless doesn't.
