I can not find the specs (on "my Computer") that state I have a (reccomended?) USB 2.0?
It is a "root hub USB" self powered at 500mA or (.5 Amps)...This is the same output of the smaller volt charger so?
I DO UNDERSTAND NOT TO USE FOR PASSTHROUGH...UNLESS 2.0 amps (2,000 mA)...naturally

65mm Mini - 210 mA
78mm Mini - 300 + ? mA
X-2 - 900 mA ..... Naturally I wouldn't use my 500 mA USB......or could I?

The self powered hub takes the current load off the computer and supplies it from the wall voltage source instead. That's a good method for USB powered devices that take more current than normal USB devices on a computer. The standard spec for USB ports is 500ma. Any higher and they begin to go into shutdown mode.

All USB ports these days are rev 2.0 or rev 3.0. Everything you'd want to know is here.
