Volt spinner recommendations?

Hello all

I've been using the SI 78mm batts w/cartos for the 5 weeks I've been vaping, and have been very happy with the quality (8 batts all work) and the cartos I have ordered.

*However* although these batts are perfect for when I'm out and about, no matter how much I vape on them I still find myself smoking a normal cig early in the morning, and again late at night after dinner. I have gone from 15-20 down to maybe 3-4 cigs a day, but having spent a *lot* of time on this forum (and Aussie Vapers) I see a lot of people have only fully stopped analogs after getting a device/delivery system with a bit more oomph.

So... A few questions:

1. Has anyone found that pen-batts got them 90% of the way and an upgrade got them over the line?

2. Since Ive had a good experience with SI so far Id like to stick with them if their VV product is pretty much the same as others of similar cost(don't much care about the threading as adapters can sort that out); and

3. If you *do* recommend the Volt Spinner what clearos/tanks/whatever would you suggest and why?

Many thanks :)

I started vaping with Smokeless Image products. I had four 78mm Volts and one 1300 mah X2 battery. I was able to totally stop smoking with this setup after 1 week. However, after about three weeks I became frustrated with the short battery duration of the Volts and advanced up to AltSmoke's BB and Silver Bullet that use replaceable rechargeable batteries.

The Smokeless Image Volt Spinner is essentially a re-branded Vision eGo Spinner battery with SI logo and their preferred 808 threading.

I suggest SI's T4 clearomizer if you have not already tried them. It's pretty much their "top of the line" juice delivery attachment so far.

If you wish to try a cartotank, you can make one with a little bit of effort. You can use the silver stainless steel (don't use the black ones) SI blank cartomizers in the XL length (45mm) http://smokelessimage.com/filter-tips/blank.html in any cartotank like this one. The slimmer 3.5ml size would look best. Pro DCTank Tube

You'll need a carto punch tool like this: Smoktech DCT Cartomizer Punch

This video shows how to use a carto punch tool: Siam Mods V2 Carto Punch Tool - YouTube

If you prefer to purchase 808 thread cartos that are already pre-punched, you can usually get them here (single coils currently out-of-stock): 808 Tank Cartomizers

I've made a blog post of my preferred method of a Cartotank Setup: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

I recently upgraded from standard Volt cig-a-likes to a 1300mah Volt Spinner. I'm using an EVOD clearomizer mostly but I use my Volt cartomizers on the Spinner sometimes too. This has been a great set up so far. No leaking or any other problems with the EVOD so far and the Spinner is fantastic. I was afraid the voltage adjusting knob would either be too easy or too hard to adjust but it has just the right amount of resistance. I like that the 1300mah Volt Spinner is a little fatter than the other Volt Spinners.

I do have to use an 808/Ego adapter with the Spinner/EVOD setup but it works great.
