Volt vs V2 battery charge time.

Ok this might come down to one being a manual and one being an automatic. Also this is with using a v2 charger. But here's the deal, my v2 battery (automatic) charges full in about an hour. my volt battery (manual) has been charging for the last 3 hours and still is charging. Both of these were bought in the last ten days. my questions are.

1.) is it the charger?

2.) is it because ones auto & ones manual?

3.) Are v2 battery's just of higher quality?

The Volt (if I'm looking at the right one) is a 320 mah battery whereas the V2 is a 650 mAh. mAh determines the discharge rate of your battery. The higher the mAh rating the longer it will last, but also the longer it will take to charge. If you're using the same charger for both then the Volt should take about 1/2 the time to charge. If it still isn't charged fully I would unplug it, unthread the battery from the charger, and re-assemble it and try again. Sometimes those things just have issues with being fully connected, and may not actually be charging the whole time. Or at least that was my experience with my Blu. Good luck, and be patient

1) I strongly suggest you use the charger that came with each of the units, and not interchange them... some put out different charge cycles/rates.
2) The switching method should have no effect at all on charge rate.
3) Probably just the mAh rating difference, and as I have no used either, I cannot have even an opinion on what one is 'better' One will just last longer.

Thanks, I ordered the Volt as a back up because my v2 kit only came with one battery. And I wanted to try a manual as well. So I did not purchase a volt charger as well as they are both kr808d connection. I'll have to order a Volt charger I guess. Which sucks because V2 just came out with a new charger that is suppose to charge a lot faster. Like vaping but it's turning into a money sink.

Smokeless Image batteries are regulated

based on the mah of the V2 ...it is most likely just less mah Batteries for Electronic Cigarettes at V2 Cigs so it charges faster (Smokeless Images manual is 78mm ...without the carto and 320 mah)....but the V2 will deplete faster at the same time
Volt batteries have bigger batts more mah per mm... and they are regulated V2 are not so by thier voltage and power will drop off faster...
That would be my guess why the Volt takes longer to charge

I thought V2 batts are 150mAh/250mAh/380mAh (short/standard/long). Not sure which of the V2 batts you have, but mine used to take a couple hours to charge (I used the long/manual and std/auto). Manual vs Auto shouldn't affect charging time, but the autos supposedly last a little longer on a charge. I felt like I got a better vape off the manual as I could warm the juice by activating for 1-2 seconds before hitting it. Do they both last as long on a full charge?

Haven't checked or thought about how long they last. I don't really chain vape and since I got a 2nd (the volt manual) I've been going back an forth. They both last about a day for me. My neighbor has some crappy 401*(i think) 3 piece ecigs so I'm letting him use my v2 standard battery while his volt kit is on the way. Can I get by with just ordering this Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt - USB Wall Adapter 1.5A and using the v2 usb plug? Thanks for the help guys. I plan on getting a bigger mod next month but I want to keep these around for going out and stuff.

And let me say I'm not knocking either battery and as far as v2cigs vs Volt goes I think they are both good ways to stop smoking. But I will say Volt cartomizers are higher quality from what I've received from both companies. Also Volt is less expensive.

Hmm, they may be different. I just dug out my V2 charger and the wall unit says output 5volt/1000mA and the end on the USB cable says input 5v - output 4.2/200mA. I'm reluctant to advise using any charging equipment not designed for your specific device.
