hoping someone can give me some basics about voltage indicators
i am using the madvapes voltage indicator in my next mod
nothing fancy, just batts, switch and carto connector
it will be used primarily to let me know how long i have left on my batts
questions are...
1-do i wire it in directly below carto connector ?
(i know far left pin is neg and pin beside it is pos)
2-will this show batt voltage when switch is depressed ?
3-is the only way to get loaded voltage by reading between carto connector and carto ?
(this isnt really necessary but would like to have both if possible...or am i asking for cake and
eat it too, lol)
4-if readings have to be taken in 2 different locations, is there an adapter that will allow you to do
this in one location with one indicator?
(meaning a carto connector adapter where you can just remove carto for no-load and screw
carto back in for load, this even sounds crazy to me just typing it, lol)
5-even if there was such an animal, would this affect the actual readings ?
wow, i have really gotta get into a basic electrician class
i really really appreciate any and all help
this is my new hobby and i love making mods but all this "lack of wiring knowledge" is really frustrating me and really slowing me down
thanks again...gervis
