Your 'sweet spot' is something you have to experiment with to find. Different flavors will have differing V ranges where they taste best to you.
Start off with low V's and gradually work your way up to find your sweet spot.

Ok sounds good, so what benefit is there to VV batteries? What exactly do they do better?

I use 2.5 - 3.0 ohm single coil cartomizers in my cartotanks on my Provari. This resistance range allows me to explore a voltage range from 3.4 volts to 5 volts.

I adjust the voltage to each flavor that I use. For example, I find my fruit flavors taste best in the 3.4 - 3.7v range; my coffee flavors taste best in the 4.0 - 4.5v range; and a couple of cinnamon flavors taste best in the 4.5 - 5v range.

Many vapors use the Safe Vaping Power Chart to assist them in finding the best resistance for their delivery device at the voltage range their battery devices can provide. The following is an article on how to find your "sweet spot" using variable voltage with the correct resistance atomizers with the Power Chart:

Hello,

Based on your experience, what would be the best voltage setting to vape 70VG/30VG liquid?

I'm using CE4 V2 clearomisers with Low Ohm 1.8 (I think) eGo Twist VV and just trying to figure out the sweet spot.

What is the best set up? Low ohm, high Volts or the other way around??

Your taste buds will tell you.
