Hey, I am wondering and those whom have used the iAtty could probably answer best. For the Odysseus, if I can get the resistance in the 1.4-1.6 range for the coil would one want to run this at 6 volts or for higher voltages say 5-6 volts should I use higher resistance wire? I assume one could make a LR coil and run it at 6 volts and it would perform like beast but burn out quickly like meteor entering the atmosphere. Let me know what you guys think.

I am not sure about running LR coil at more than 3.7 volts since I only vape at 3.7 and 1.5 to 2 ohms coils on my iAtty, but I think that you will not have good results running a 1.6 ohms coil at 6 volts (22.5 watts), I think it would be to much and you will have a burnt taste, however I think you are right about the wire gauge for the coil, if it its to thin I probably will not last much. Maybe a 1.6 ohms coil made with 32 awg khantal wire could work ok at that voltage. (I'm just guessing :( )

I absolutely would NOT run it at 1.5 ohms and 5 or 6v...but that's just me. For 5-6v I make a 3 ohm setup and it's nice and warm and full of flavor. 1.5 ohms @5v = 16 watts. Do you really want it that hot?

I bought some Kanthal A-1 32awg for my resistance wire and then bought .999 dead soft silver 32 gauge for NR wire. I have 2 Odysseus on the way to me along with a SS GGTS and will stick to 3.7volts running one on the GGTS and the other on a silver bullet or VV device. I will wait to buy replacement wick until the unit gets out to buyers and we start experimenting.

Watt is not the right meassurment to see if the taste is burned guys. I will give you an example. If we make a wire at 2 ohm and we vape it at 7,4 volts , the watt will be at 27. If you vape this set up, you will not see a burn taste with a 0,2 or 0,22 fat R wire.

Watt is a fake meassurment. I first talked about watts on ecf and I first tell you that its not the right meassurment

This is all getting intriguing since the Ody's should start hitting ion a couple of days (as soon as the USPS gets off their fat white uh, seat cushions from Christmas break). Being of the cooler vape preference, I am going to want to start around 2.2-2.4 @ my usual 3.7.

Ah the joys of being satisfied at lower voltages!
