Can someone please help make make sense of these stats and how they are relevant to my 510? I cant reply in that thread yet, but I am desperate to get new attys, and prior to purchasing I would like to make an informed decision.

I dont have any mods, as I dont know what I would do (other than the PTB).

Just using a couple vapor king batteries, and some attys from TW which taste like absolute rubbish. My mouth gets dry and tastes horrible and no amount of liquid can wash it out! I need to try some diff attys STAT! I have a bunch drying that I did a hot water rinse on now and I just dont have faith its going to fix them.

Any help with this would be appreciated as im totally ready to buy some off brands from nhale or madvapes.

To keep is very basic, this is what you need to know.

Voltage applies to your battery. The voltage of your 510 is about 3.2v.

Ohms apply to your atomizer. The ohms of a standard 510 atomizer is about 3.0ohm. A Low Resistence (LR) atomizer is about 2.5ohm.

The atomizers that TW sells are genuine Joye atomizers, which are high-quality. I don't think they are your problem, personally. I think it may be your juice, or the fact that your body is still adjusting to vaping.

Are you drinking a lot of water? You may also want to brush your teeth an extra time per day. PG in e-juice can dry you out, and can leave your mouth tasting icky.

If this does not help, try switching to juice with VG in it. Some people find this is easier on their mouth and throat.

EDIT: Have you blown out the primer fluid from your atomizers? That may be why they taste bad. Atomizers often come with priming fluid on them, which can taste pretty foul.

I didnt blow out the 2 that came with my starter kit and they lasted 2 weeks before they started to fail, then I think I fried them by over dry burning and trying to mess with them. I am on my 4th atty from my 5 pack from TW, and I finally found out about blowing them out. 2 of the 4 I have used were not blown out (i just learned about the primer), but they all seem to be failing at the same rate.

I constantly find myself topping off my cart and adding a drop to the atomizer. Within about 6-8 hits (while allowing time to cool) I start getting the burned taste.

Ive been vaping for about 2 months.

Had this problem with nuhport juice I had, and now most recently with cowboy nobacco juice from vapor4life. The only juice that didnt do this was the menthol juice I got with my starter kit. I however dont think thats it, the most recent carts I have used only are taking 3-4 drops and when I Start getting the burnt taste im lucky if I can add 1 drop to top them off. So instead I drop a drop right on the atomizer.

I would agree that its quite possible a little more water intake and an extra brushing might help the mouth, but after getting burnt taste all morning and having nasty mouth by 3pm I am rather frustrated.

I thought for sure the PTB was going to be the answer supplying plenty of moisture to my attys... but no avail.

Im open for other suggestions, I have kept all my old attys and the ones from TW have only been exposed to hot water, blowing them out and very slight dry burns.

For now I think im going to open my last new one and see how it goes.

I know a lot of people do dry-burns, but I really don't recommend them personally. They're just as likely to kill your atomizer as they are to clean it.

This is what I do. And I have never killed an atomizer:
YouTube - E-Cigarette Atomizer Maintenance

When they are done drying, they are COMPLETELY dry. So you will want to put 4 or 5 drops of juice directly onto the atomizer before you vape them.

I don't know much about cart mods, but the user whose video I linked you to above, does. He does several tutorial videos on cart mods. I would recommend you look at this:
