Hello once again and welcome to today's review of the Drag E 60 Kit from Voopoo. The Drag E 60 Kit was sent to me from Voopoo for the purpose of this review. The Drag E 60 has a built in battery with a rating of 2550mAh and goes from 5-60w with 3 different power modes to chose from. The included Pod has a capacity of4.5ml and as most do connects using 3 magnets. The Drag E 60 Pod uses a new PNP coil but all PNP coils will work in it. The size of this little ACE as Voopoo likes to call it is a perfect palm fit an a nice stealth device that almost disappears in the hand.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Right off the bat after opening and picking the device up I liked the Drag E 60 without vaping it yet just because of the size, I like my devices to be on the smaller side when out and about and the Drag E 60 Kit fits the bill perfectly.

With no external battery to worry about and a pretty nice sized internal one I know I will have enough power to last me while I'm out for some time especially with the ECO mode that will extend the battery life a little longer.

Appearance is very classy while being compact and very lightweight, it's borderline on whether it's shirt pocketable though.

The Pod is a pretty nice one having a capacity of 4.5ml, top fill, and is clear making juice viewing a breeze. The top fill uses 2 holes with silicone membranes covering them making it very mess free. By rotating the drip tip that is proprietary by the way counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close with a small click being heard by me letting me know it's sealed well being closed.

Connecting the pod to the device is done magnetically as most pod systems do, there are 3 strong magnets used to secure the pod to the device. Airflow is controlled by turning the pod itself which locks into the gear that makes the adjustment..

Being top fill is great but being top fill and having the membrane over the fill holes is such a better system and I'm glad this pod has the membrane. Either hole can be used to fill the pod leaving the other hole to let air escape from the pod when filling, this also makes fill up very fast as well.

I said earlier that the pod is connected as most are using magnets but the Drag E 60 has a set of 3 small indents that lock the pod in place as well.

With the pod locked in place, rotating the pod in either a clockwise or counterclockwise position will open or close the airflow slots that are 180 degrees apart from each other.

There are 2 slots on each side of the device with the bottom slot being the airflow slots and the top being a juice window.

Voopoo has 2 new PNP coils that is in the kit, the PnP-TW20 0.2Ω Mesh with a wattage range of 40-55w and the TW30 0.3Ω Mesh with a wattage range of 28-36w. Remember that you can also use the original PnP coils in the pod as well.

On one side of the Drag E 60 there is just a plain field of material with no branding at all while the other side as you have seen has DRAG embossed on it, I don't know what will be on the bottom if anything on the final retail version, as mine just has SAMPLE written on it with Gene TT.

Looking at the front face you see a very clean layout with the Power/Fire button up at the top and the adjustment buttons that are a rocker switch located at the bottom below the display screen and at the very bottom is the type-c charge port.

There are 3 different power modes that consist of a Smart mode that recommends a wattage and wont let you exceed the maximum wattage for the coil being used.

The 2nd power mode is the RBA mode that will let you run the wattage to it's maximum. Finally the last mode is called ECO mode that will conserve battery life, when the battery is at 40% a banner on the display screen appears asking if you want to engage ECO mode or not ( it's your choice ), I will say that it works pretty well.

One thing that I almost forgot to mention is that the Drag E 60 also has a auto-draw feature included. I found the tighter I closed the airflow the better it worked or the deeper the inhale.

There really is no menu to talk about just press and hold the 2 adjustment buttons simultaneously to open the menu that consist of the power modes (SMART, RBA, ECO ), puff counter clear, about device and exit.

Use either adjustment button to scroll to the function you want to engage and press the Power/Fire button. Turning the device on/off is done by pressing the Power/Fire button 5 times very quickly. This is a very simple and easy to use and navigate device.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I will tell you that I was very surprised how well the Drag E 60 performed, both coils worked well and what really surprised me was how well the ECO mode worked. Something else I forgot to mention is when in ECO mode the display screen even dims a little conserving power also.

I really like this compact lightweight little gem and will continue using it after writing this review. You will not get a entire day on 1 charge but with it's very fast charging you wont be down very long.

I would like to thank Nical for sending the Drag E 60 Kit for the purpose of my review and I hope my review answered all of your questions regarding it.

    THANK YOU
