Seems that VooPoo is releasing a resin version of the Drag. The only pic I found was from their FB page, but it looks pretty nice. Hopefully, both sides will get the resin doors:

So I have one of these in hand. I was surprised by the fit and finish on it. Build quality feels more high end then expected. mod has some heft to it, not a throw in your shirt pocket mod. But I've always preferred some weight to my mods.
Chip does seem to fire fast [emoji4]
Been using it in TC with SS coils with no issues at factory settings (mod does have the ability to adjust both TCR and the set coil resistance for further fine tuning if needed).
A neat feature....the mod automatically puts you into the correct wattage range (wattage mode) based upon the coil resistance.
A pleasant surprise, the mod has true balance charging. In use, you only see a single battery meter, but if hooked up to the charger, after being idle for a bit the screen will show you the charge status of both batteries. Tested with one almost full and one half charged, the mod correctly stopped charging the one when full, while continuing to charge the other.
Only had this since yesterday afternoon, but so far battery life seems to be really good.

Good info i just won a contest for this mod. And was wondering how it performed.

That has to be my favorite color in the resin mods. If you ever decide to part with it, let me know first [emoji846]

After waiting 2 months to get this i am so disappointed with it. Here is my fasttech review that of course got rated down cause it wasn't all gushing and glowing LOL..
Even though i put more info in there than any other review.. i systematically went through all the issues
Unbelievably overrated mod - Authentic VOOPOO DRAG 157W TC VW APV Box Mod: FastTech

Now i have found a new issue.. The friggin battery life SUCKS!
I have 2 brand new sony vtc5a in there that have perfect low resistance after testing with xtar and 2519 capacity.. great batteries and I did a run with them in the dna 250 (in dual mode so a 167) with same tank and watts (non tc mode) and the dna lasted 2.5x longer.

I can not believe, i am just vaping an ego one mega tank with 1 ohm coil at 15.5 watts, and this twin battery voopoo drag can't get through a tank.

I charged them externally to 4.2 volts and also internally as it has perfectly balanced charging.. it even discharges them flawlessly.. When there was one battery bar left i tested the voltage with the xtar probes and both were at exactly 3.40 volts! Both! That's damn even discharging! but it just doesn't *last*.

Anyone else find this? You know, i thought the vtc5a was a good choice, cause if i ever decide to vape something that hits 151 watts, they can handle that with safety all day every day. They are the best battery for this mod, for it's specs, in every way that makes sense according to mooch's tests.

This mod is poop. Sorry it is. It is so overhyped.. It also tips over with feather touch.. and not only that, it is SO uncomfortable to hold, and my hands are not small! Thumb or trigger sucks donkeys.

I am curious now to see if the batteries drain while it is off, so will be checking them every couple days.

Anyway, i wouldn't bother with this one people, joyetech's latest mods for similar money vape way better out of the box without tuning.. and fire as fast if not faster. Seriously, i am looking at you with a straight face and legit tell you to get a joyetech over this any day. Or a tesla nano.

Cheers, just my (admittedly passionate) 2c.

Sorry about the problems you're running into, it seems the battery issue is the largest problem. Supplying current to the coil would be the largest current draw and your using the same tank and coil and you would think batteries should last close to the same time.
well at least within quarter right? But not less than half.. too weird.

I think the DNA might discharge a tad lower but not enough to account for difference.

Also, this is interesting, my single battery eh pro tube mod with 18650 extension using same coil and tank outlasts the dual battery voopoo ;)

with my triple battery snowwolf, three vtc5a inside, i am now on my 5th nicolas tank refill (so, 15 mls), first 2 tanks were 12.5 watts, now new 0.6 coil is 21.5 watts, and batt meter is half way only. Amazing.
Some perspective.

Im sorry you are disapointed, but i think you got defective unit. Both me and 2 of my friends have Drag,i have resin version and they have "ordinary" ones, batt life is outstanding on all 3 of them.I run 0.61 oHm single coil in Ammit 25 at 45W,i can go true 4-5 big tanks (5ml) till i need to charge batteries.Thats more than a day for me,i use other setups on a daily basis, but i guess if i would use only drag and Ammit it would last 1 day...Also i was checking to see if it discharges batteries while in standby (i never turn it off unless im changing batteries),and i think it doesnt...Or if it does it is so little that i cant notice it.I was checking after 1 night, aprox 10 hours,i mesured 3.77V on each batt and after 10h standby they were 3.77V again.
