Just got this thing and it's doing something very odd.After it goes to sleep it changes my wattage setting.I have it set to 17 and after it wakes up it goes to 42. Got one nasty dry hit.
In the manual it says that it will automatically suggest a wattage based on resistance.Does anyone else have this problem? I just changed the setting to v-w mode hoping this solves the problem.

What setting did you have it on. Unless you're doing temp control, it should be on v-w mode.

Well I just watched P.Busardo's video and it does suggest a wattage if you select new coil.

There is a Normal Wattage mode[W] and a [W-V] mode which if you hold the +- buttons brings you to a [V-W]mode.
