Ive had a few Vortexs that had a burnt taste no matter what juice I used, and I was able to fix them simply, so i thought I'd share.
If you keep getting a burnt taste from your Vortex follow these steps.
What I noticed is that part of the coil wasn't touching the wick, thats what was causing the bad taste.
To check this, vape it in a completely dark room, If you notice any glowing coming from the Vortex, its a simple fix.
Disassemble it by carefully wiggling off the outer tube
Remove the ALF
Carefully wiggle off the center tube
Now you have just the coil and wick exposed
Using a pair of tweezers, Gently squeeze the coil where it was glowing, so it will make full contact with the wick.
Reassemble with or without the ALF (I personally prefer to leave it out)
Fill and enjoy!
Hope this helps someone, Its taken 2 of them from trash to treasure for me.
