I just received my vortex and a new ego today. I love the vortex, it's wonderful. I popped the cap, filled it up, did not wait, and it vapes super. No bad taste ( I got that alot on the ce2's) and no waiting for it to wick. I really like how the mouthpiece feels, more like a real cig to me but like everyone is saying it just needs to fit a little snugger. I hope that is the only thing you change about the mouthpiece because it really does feel nice when you puff on it. I do have a problem. The cone on my ego does not fit over the cartomizer. Can someone please tell me how to make the cone fit. I want to use these on the new ego because I honestly think this is going to be the best vaping experience I have ever had if I can get it to go together. Thank you for any help. Also because I'm absolutely sure this is the only cartomizer I will ever use again can someone direct me where to look on how to clean them.

Grind the cone down a small amount at a time until it fits through.
You can use a Dremmil, shop grinder, or do it by hand on some concrete then finish it off with fine sand paper.

In the last 3 hours I have had it and kept changing cartos/carts and seeing if the cone makes a difference it does. It does make it look alot cooler but definately has an effect on the air draw. I really like that it has a harder draw with the cone on, that was one thing I hated in the begining of vaping and had to modify all of my kr808's so that the draw was harder. I used my dremel and TADA my cone now fits my cartomizers. Thanks Credo it worked like a charm.

I actually took a drill bit to my cone and honed it out from the inside(started by inserting the bit on the thread end) and it does not scar the finish of it. I started with a bit the same size ad the tube and worked up 3 sizes because the cone will heat up a little and expands so you need to up the size.

just held it in my hand and did it gently(NO JOKES PLEASE! HA) so you do not slip and nick the threads. The cone works fine on the vortex and still good on regular size tubed CE2's draw wise. It is actually honed out enough and smooth so the vortex cap while tight at the very tip will fit through the cone if ya give it a little push with your finger.

Hope this helps.

if your using the cone with vortex on the epower, it might be a slight tight draw because it fits so tight, you can either dremel the cone as to widen the hole or you cane drill a small tiny hole somewhere towards the bottom to create a air slot.

mine draws a little tight but I have no complaints with it, good tip though thanks!
