I did see that the Gdeal BF 510 have been realeased with the ss pos pin, these do look good, I will be getting some in for evaluation, so these will be an option in the near future too!

Well, I think Vaughan's new 510 is fantastic, the nipple the tube slides on is extra long and perfect. Has been great on all my mods, nice job V.

Thinking about all the options for my second is doing my head in. Trying not to over complicate the design. The laminated 2 blocks together will already be "busy". Maybe... Idk...

Perhaps one banksia laminated with simple grain wood to get it up to size? Then that wood as caps?

I've been overthinking it... Never a good thing.

Half convinced first cut will show resin failed or something.

Hi Doffy, both blocks are big enough for a single, what battery configuration were you looking for? The blocks are sound, don't worry about that at all, if either block has failed inside i'll eat my hat...lol. The first question is what block is to be the primary colour, and laminating with wood is no problem, will look great either way.

Thanks Splat, was hoping it was what you were after. The outside diameter is the same as the DT insert on the stumpy so matches in quite well.

I love that the delrin runs all the way up on the inside, that's a great protection for the wood.
That whole ensemble will look absolutely smashing.
Darn I'm so exited I can't type worth beans.

I'm actually amazed how hidden this gem still is after purchasing 5 in the last year for work that would demand a two year wait in any other thread on ECF, you've found the Holy Grail Classy. Or at least how I define it.
