VTC5 green wrapper question

Can I remove the wrapping on the battery? It got caught on my hana mod and I had to tear the green crap to get it out of my mod. Is it still safe? I want to remove or repair it so that it won't happen again

Probably not adviseable. The protective shrink wrapping prevents electrical conductivity of the underlying battery cell to the metal body of the mod. Removing it could cause a short.

I've not researched it, but allegedly its not too difficult to re-wrap a battery.

There is battery shrink wrap sold for this purpose.

I have some from Fasttech. It works great.
