Vv boards

So looks like I've found a new obsession and that obsession is building my own box mods. So with that said I'm looking for a vv board. Not wanting the dna board just yet seeing how this will be my first vv mod. Looking for something on the cheaper side to get the ball rolling

Saw the zmax board on the madvapes website, what are your opinions on that board? Also just looking for other cheaper board options

The only issue with the zmax board is it's a single button board. For me this makes it too much of a hassle to use. You might want to take a look at the vamo pcb. It has + and - buttons, and is a bit cheaper on average.

Check the okr t-6 and t-10 about $10 and 35 and 50 watts respectively.

Some take series or parallel battery setups.

There are 4 holes next to the + - buttons but I'm fairly sure they are not for the buttons. Best bet is probably a fine point soldering iron, and just tack wires to the board where the built in switches are. The pads are mighty small though. If you are new to soldering, you will want to practice on a junk board of some kind first.

I have been soldering on R/C cars for many years, but the points of solder are not nearly as small! I am trying to figure out a design that I could use the existing buttons. I don't want to make a standard box mod, that would just be too easy. Damn me and my need for the unique!! HAHA

The only Vamo box I made, I kept the + - buttons for that reason, and just moved the fire button. It's a bit bigger/easier. I like having those buttons next to the screen anyway, so it worked out for me.
It's too bad the Groove pcbs aren't around anymore. They had the fire button already separated from the board.

Yes, you can move all of the buttons. -Just solder wires from the Vamo button terminals to your tactile switches. My Vamo V5 box cost like $30 to build and it works excellent.

Look for power bank DIY kits. Fasttech has plenty.
