VV Box Mod for 45 Quid shipped? (UK)

I'm looking for one of the above (see title)
Any chance you reckon?
I tried having a look on ukvapers forum for some of the guys who build small batches of them
but it wouldn't let me sign up for some reason.

I've got a baby on the way so i'm on a shoe string budget, literally...

I've already got a variety of batteries (preferably 18650's)
Preferably with a screen on it to see what voltage its at, but beggars cant be choosers haha i can do
without.

Is there any uk based people who build these type's of units on these forums?

How much is a quid in USD?
Shipping isn't that expensive to the U.K., priority mail is about $13USD with approx. 10 day delivery. (including 6 days in your customs, LOL)

I think 45 pound is about 70usd roughly
yeah your not wrong, i'll have to look into it, its just knowing custom's they'll slap a nice fat vat and import tax charge on it =/

I'm thinking 18650 is a pretty big battery for a box mod.
Are you firm that it be a box instead of a tube?
Cuz if Andrew at CrystalClearVaping will ship to the U.K., he has the new Version Lavatube with a 3.2A limit, and some other improvements for $52 for the tube and free shipping. That'll take your 18650, I think. I have heard the new LTs will take a protected battery as well as an IMR. You'd want to verify that. Anyway, since his domestic shipping is usually free, he might ship it for a reasonable charge. Even with your customs taxes, you'd get pretty close to your budget and you wouldn't need new batteries. It ain't a box mod, but it's pretty reasonable for an 18650 sized VV.
