Welcome , but probably taste the same , all things being alike , voltage , or wattage , etc . Some devices seem to hit harder than others , but for the most part , your RBA will taste the same on say a GG , or a Silver Bullet . I have both Mech. as well as electronic devices , and my RBA's taste the same on pretty much every device . At least that's been my experience for the last few years .

A VV/VW device can typically be called "Safer" also. It just won't fire if there's a short but it also won't fire on something with too low of resistance. A mechanical is better for people who are more experienced in making coils and being sure they won't go supernova. Those people usually use heavier wire and get sub 1ohm coils glowing all pretty like.

TLDR: If you haven't used either, go with the VV/VW and after enough experience with RBAs upgrade to a mech if you want sub 1ohm, don't if you like your 1.7ish ohm 4 wrap 32awg RBA ;)
