The date is a estimate only chances are the final date will fall on a weekend . Keep in mind I have 500 of these and I ordered another 500 so anyone that wants one will get one .There is no need for people to lose time from work or worry they wont get one . If the mods sell out on sale night it wont take long to put up another lot of them .

OMG... that is awesome! All this time i had been just telling myself; actually talking at the computer: "fool; this is going to sell out in a heart beat, and most won't even get on the web page due to overload... forget about it!!!"
But i still kept subscribed to the post... I saw in my mind Rob tooling all those VV Woodies by hand, and then bang... gone, but also thought, well at least these are machined pieces - yet VV tech internals have to be done by hand. Now this... 1,000 VV Grands.

I think I'll check in an hour after the sale starts....

Personally, I like the idea of during the week. Might be a bit less stress on the server at that time of day on a week night. I'd much rather miss out on a color combo because I was late to the sale and someone else bought it than having it in my cart and having the server repeatedly crash and not being able to check out. I missed out on a vv Woodville because of that.

(LOL, your opinion may vary)

Thank you for putting an on/off switch on the rob Mod! (I was going to go back and edit this but I thought it was funny).

Lil mini Woodville wasn't in the off position and the liter of Coke decided it was going to cause trouble. I saw smoke and smelled something awful so I turned around and noticed it was coming from my bag. The liter of coke was pressing the fire button. The drip tip melted and the bag burnt.

Anywho...thought I would show some love for the switch.

Rob,

Will you be doing any powder coating on the VV GRands on this run or in the near future? I would love to see how they look and feel. I might want to lay off the anodized and wait for the powder coated ones.

THanks.
I am going to begin some test runs next week on some mods I have here in the shop. I will post picks and share my thoughts on the out come.

I was going to wait for the VV Grands, but gave in and stressed on sale night of the VV Woodvils. Now I had wanted a Grand also due to their durability to withstand damp dirty hands, hay seed filled pockets and drops in the dirt. However with the VV in them they really won't be able to withstand all that the metal Reos do now. I would not be able to run it under hot water to clean it. Would there be any way to seal off the circuitry with epoxy so the VV Grand could withstand a water bath?
