I posted this in another thread, last night, thinking I was in this thread. Ding Duh :facepalm:

Just got in from airport. Plane late but at least not cancelled. {edit - arriving/connecting flight very late}

Picked up VVGs today. WOW!!!!!!!!!! First the glitter Purple is almost blue as compared to the standard Purple.

For the very first time, two years vaping, I'm able to use a thumb instead of index finger!!!!! Actually easier for me than index finger due to not too awfully long fingernails.

It feels wonderful. It probably won't take long to get used to thumb.

Have an ERA on it and adjusting to squonking more as I've been using mostly cartos for a year. ERA is single Kanthal 32 A, 5 winds around short 3mm silica wick. I didn't leave any tails on wick beyond coil and no loops. (The 3mm is really too thick to double.) 2.4 ohms prior to dryburning coil with plain VG. Been vaping on for about 3 hours. Will see what the ohms are when I do a PGA soak and dryburn tomorrow.

I did soak made up coil/wick in PGA for an hour before putting on ERA and dry burning.

All is fine!!!!

As there is not much wick in the ERA I think I've found the perfect way to squonk. Gently barely squonk bottle, and hold it for a couple of seconds (probably longer than 2 seconds) before letting go. The excess juice then goes back into bottle. I'll have to adjust as juice is used up.

So thrilled Robert. You done GREAT!!!!

Hugs, Feisty Alice

cut a popcicle stick to prevent the top bat from moving around... in VVG.

I like the chalice but does any vendor sell them in USA? or even the ERA?

Is that the steam machine on your grand? I tried mine and it seemed to work ok, but it leaked outta the air holes when I squonked to much. Would love to hear what you think of it.

I had similiar situations with it, if you over squonked it, it would leak out of the 2 air holes, its a trial and error to get it right for squonking, but it does work. I dont think SM was really designed for it, I just did it that way because it fits better than the ody drip-mode. I like the height of chalice/ERA, but have no way to participate in the co-op for era, and chalice will have to wait, Im moving so unless it's in the USA, Im out of luck.

Is the co-op for the ERA still going or is it closed?

If you want a Nobel Peace Prize wouldn't it be easier to learn how to bow deeply from the waist and apologize profusely instead of creating ways to assist people in ceasing a potentially fatal addiction?

Seems to have worked in the past... but I could be wrong.

I was having an issue with ERA on VVG being wobbly and it wouldn't stay tightened on. So I put a couple of cartos, two brands, on and discovered that there was a small snag in the REO screw fitting. (Cartos are easier to grasp and screw down than the ERA.) Once I screwed a carto on and off a couple of times all is well. The ERA went down another half turn and is sitting snuggly. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!
