OK.. I am getting antsy. How long does it take to get a reo back from the Doctor for VV button switch... My wife now wants a VV instead of her Grand.. she is stealing my backup !

It will spend more time with the USPS than it will in Rob's modshack. Repairs are 1st priority as they arrive and are usually shipped out the day after they arrive.

I sent two REOs in on Saturday. Monday was a holiday and estimated delivery was for Wednesday. Rob already had them, fixed and back out the door on Tuesday, while USPS was still tracking for them to be delivered.
:toast: Just doesn't get any better than that!

That's good to know cuz both of my vv g's have to go get some surgery...one at a time, tho!

I hate to put the larger button on them, but my first vv g is already starting to act up, so i guess i'll just have to do it:(

When/if my recessed button VVGs need to be fixed I'm going to grovel to Robert so he maybe will agree to replacing with recessed buttons. I know the failure rate of recessed is not acceptable to Robert but Robert, I promise I won't tell anyone. The recessed is so much nicer to old, cranky hands. So far all three VVGs are working great despite Silver VVG taking two "swims." (First "swim" was into cool, dirty/greasy dish water.) The REO doGs keep close watch over my REOs most of the time but naughty REOs sneak off and do crazy things when they aren't looking. In addition Robert adds a sprinkle of "rebellion" to all REOs heading this way.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

I got my VV grand in and its everything I have hoped for. I love the more rounded corners (My grand is a first-ish run that was a bit more squared off) The finish is so nice, it sticks to my hand better and isn't as slippery as my old grand. I love the silver door, I love the button, I love the battery life, and I love having VV in the best mod in the world!

I only have one negative. On my old grand I would set it down on its side closest to the atty connection. This happens to be the side the button is on the VVG. So my first night with it I was doing a little vaping in the dark before I went to bed. After I laid down I started smelling something horrible. I completely fried the carto on my VVG, melted half the black sticker off the thing. It was nasty and my wife wasn't too happy. (VVG is, of course, totally unaffected by the incident) Lesson learned!

Alice the bigger button is easier on your hands then the little tactile switch . Once you try the bigger button you will love it .

Alice, I agree with Rob. The bigger button is actually easier on the hands. And it really looks classy....it took me about 5 seconds to get used to it and PREFER it over the other one. I'm so glad I have the "surgery" on mine over with. My new button works like a dream, and I don't have any "nagging" in my mind about when my button might start acting up.

I posted this in the lounge, but it's also appropriate here... ;)

Holy s**T!! My Silver Vein VVG arrived today, and it is FANTASTIC!! :toast:   :toast: The texture is just what I wanted, and the rounded corners & large button is quite comfortable.

I wrapped a nice wick / coil on the ERA, loaded my bottle with El Toro Virginia Prime, tossed in freshly charged AW IMR 18350's, and played with the voltage.... MEGA vapor and flavor.. :vapor: :smokie: I can't see how it could be any better. Well worth selling my SS Don to obtain...

I'll post some pics soon as I can pry it from my hand..

A BIG Thanks To Robert For Building The Perfect Grand...

New bottle and feed tube arrived, really enjoying the action of the new button :)

Feed tube is slightly long, s curve when i pack it. Think I'll leave it that way for now, rather than trimming

Thanks for the spare bottles and atty! I'm running an amg hybrid bf 2.5 right now, at just under 5v, will try the lr later.

The vape quality of the vvg with a good atty continues to be great :)
