UNSURE's LAW: Cover your bases and have all things in house before the REO arrives! :D

Btw I noticed its the stacked battery nearest the positive connector that drains first/most. :)

I just now had to pull the AW IMR 16340 batteries out of BP because they hit their low limit so chip stops drawing power from them.

The BOTTOM battery is the one that drains the most. Bottom battery 1.86v and top battery 2.60v. So, by checking voltage with multimeter it is very obvious that the HIGHER STRESS, DRAIN is on the bottom battery. In order to keep the set matched up you have to alternate which battery goes on bottom every other use. When you have to toss one battery you'll need to toss it's partner, as you will be asking for even greater battery stress if you use a used battery with a new one. In fact, in some situations, with some batteries, this can be a safety issue using very mismatched batteries.

That's what I thought I remembered but my previous post ....... on the Buzz Pro, with + on top, the bottom battery, from the set I just pulled out, had half as much voltage left. I'll see what happens with the set I just put in. Stand by.

Gill, Those are the exact two sets of batteries I'm using on my BP. Main difference is the AW IMRs are about a year old but used very little while the Powerizers are brand new. If the top battery is the one that drains the most, as I have always remembered, then one of my AWs must be going bad. Next time I put them in I'll know more. I've been putting the mm to them, past week, but my brain is on vacation, and I haven't been writing down the meter results.

I've only been using the BP for a week. I can't put one of the AW batteries on top as the shrink wrap is cracking off of the bottom and I have a piece of electrical tape on it till I get some liquid tape on it, so I'm afraid it might get stuck in the BP if I put it on top. So this last use was the third time, this week, that the electric tape battery has been used on the bottom. As I only used them a couple of times, in past year, I wouldn't expect them to be that much different in "health" but anything is possible. It is possible that that tape wrapped battery is inherently "weaker" than the non-tape-wrapped battery, for whatever reason.

Well everyone using the term top & bottom and I don't know the way a BP or the new REO VV is setup. Im using a loaner VV Woodchuck and the positive connector is on the bottom and the spring is on top so thats why I explained it the way I did. Not even sure its the same chip but I do know which battery drains completely first. :) Btw that pic of batteries I posted are brand new waiting for the REO VV. The batteries Im using in the VV WC are UltraFires & AWs that Lenny included which are marked "A" & "B" (lrd3 is a sweetheart who doesn't sell mods just helps friends) :)

The simplest way to do this IMO on a Bottom fed mod or a mod is at the 1/2 way point in the juice bottle just swap the battery's

I have been doing this for a long time and the battery's stay pretty much consistent in the drain of power.

It not as complicated and it seams

Great Idea!!!!!!!!!!. On the Buzz Pro, I have a medium hand blown funky carto tank, with warts, (DH loves it very much to my suprise) and it holds a lot of juice. So one set isn't lasting me much down the bottle. I'm not getting the claimed, 8+ hours of vaping, using the Powerizers or the AW IMRs. It's more like four, in the BP. The first time I used each set, in the BP, I got much longer use time from the same batteries. This makes me wonder if maybe there is an issue with either my batteries and/or the charger (although they test out right when they come off the charger) OR maybe the chip in the BP. Hmmmmmmm I need to start writing observations down. Although highly unlikely, there could be an issue with the BP.

Gotta run to Lostco. My Bubs are starving and have been reminding me, right up in my face!!!!!, Feisty Bubs, that they NEED some food. Little does the unsuspecting public realize that MAJOR DING-BAT, behind the wheel, will be endangering them.

I can take the "back road" most of the way. Whew.

I've assigned Jen the duty of asking about chargers for LiFEPO4 batteries. Although we don't have to use the safest chemistry batteries, LiFEP04, for our VV REOs, some of us have them. I want to give Jen a set of my LiFEP04s, 3v, but we want to know if they need a special charger other than one that does 3v. Is the LiFEP04 battery charger requirement dependent on only the voltage, or the chemistry, or both? Like the Tenergy charge sold only for, and packaged with 3v LiFEP04 batteries?

BTW.... Most Excellent REO Folk. I feel free to reference "Buzz Pro" so much only because the BP chip, control board, is what Robert is using in "our" VV REOs. I am in no way forsaking our REOs or Robert. I just couldn't stand it any longer waiting for our VV REOs!!!! The GEEK in me won out. I traded my "high end" tube mods for REOs and kept three for loaners and one to carry out to the woods. The BP, a new aquisistion, is fun, especially with the funky tanks, but lacks so so many of the "hassle-less" properties of the REO.

The BP chip that is in the REO has something in it that extends the life of the battery's, More efficient with the power from what I remember.

I got 13 hours of almost non stop vaping yesterday on 2 aw 750mah 123a batteries :)

BP battery life is damn good and the internals are solid. I loved my reo but prefer the buzz pro. I cannot wait for the VV reo. Its my 2 favorite mods jammed into one :)

I hear you there. My go to mods are REO and Buzz. I got two Original Buzz mods and two BP's

I have the Black AW ICR123's at 750mah in the REO VV now looking forward to seeing how much juice I can get through on one charge.

Any multi charger that has a 3v setting should. I use a Ultrafire WF-188 and it has all I need to do any of my battery's

Hope that helps.
