No...just googled Koa...and grabbed some images that I thought did the best at showing the depth in the grain. It's an amazing wood when polished up.

I have made my decision. I think. Well, I am pretty sure. I guess everyone can count me in as a participant and prospective buyer on sale night.
Sometimes seeing them helps me decide. The way I figure the next set of pictures will pretty much set my mind in the direction of got to have one.
I have not purchased the batteries. The purchase of batteries to me means I will have one!

I've not bought batteries either. I looked at the pictures for awhile and identified about 20-25 that I really, really like. So, those are my focus. If for some reason I can't snag any of those come sale night then I think I'll hold off until he does another run of them. Even though I'm sure they are all lovely, I'd rather have one I truly want instead of one I "settled" for.
Surely to heaven I can snag one out of the 25 choices.
EDIT: And "settled" isn't really the word I'm looking for. Anyone that gets one hasn't "settled" for anything less than what I'm sure will be a stellar mod. I just can't think of a better way to word it.

Its strange, while I've always apriciated the quality and craftsmanship of the Woodvils. They wernt a top priority for me. I love Metal
. The VV Grand is all I've been dreamin about sence I've heard of them... Then Rob starts producing these VV woodvils and I've become obsessed with them. There just fantanstic!!!! Although I havent "imprinted" on a particular one yet there are certain woods that I'm definetly after. I'm praying I'll be able to snag one of these come sale day.

You are correct! I have been very lucky to get my first choice in the last couple of new release sales. It is a challenge, but the thrill is just part of the adrenalin rush. It takes nerves of steel, and quick actions. And nobody better be around to hear the language that is used! After it is done, just sit back and vape and look at the picture of your new REO! I can't wait!
I picture you in war paint or maybe dressed like Xenna warrior princess. Sitting at your computer yelling out war crys through the clouds of vape from one of your woodvils. Like a scene out of apocalipse now.
Well I for one was able to make arrangements to avoid having to enter the vicious, bloody, cut throat scramble of sale night for someone.
I'll just sit back and witness the utter joy & bloodshed.
I've requested an 801 connection, which isn't in high demand, so I'm hoping I can find at least one for sale and ninja check out before anyone else.
Forgive me. I think I known the answer already... I am seeing all these references to sale night, but we're all just talking about the hypothetical sale night that will come some day in the future, right? Or have I totally been asleep and missed an announcement? Wouldn't be the first time for me...

I lucked up and got both of my Grands on the site after a sale night, so I'm new to the REO sale night battle. Is it always a certain night of the week or is it just any random day of the week when he's ready to go?

Robert picks a day. He tries to pick a day that will be good for everybody. That is pretty hard to do with different work schedules. Also the time is usually 7 p.m. EST. Again he really can't pick a time that is good for everyone. Remember there are people from all different states as well as those out of the USA. We usually know at least a week in advance of the sale.
Oh that's cool. I just didn't know if it was always the same day of the week or if it varied according to when the mods are ready.
