I get the same hint before mine stops working .I check the voltage on the batteries I am getting the same results 2.7 volts when the mod no longer fires. I find this odd shouldn't there still be enough juice left to run the atomizer in a stacked configuration.
I noticed some people saying there batteries come out of there vv mods at different voltages mine are always exactly the same .I was poking around Mikes forum the other night trying to take in some info and he said not all batteries are created equal, they have to be hand matched to get them to discharge at the same rate

{edit} Robert, I'll bet you are using the 18xxx 3.7 volt. I would expect they would shut off at a higher voltage than the 16xxx 3 volt I'm using. This is mostly for information for others to make note.

The set I used right before the the one I reported, lastly, AW LiFePO4, 3v 500mAH, stopped, and came out of the BP at 2.34v and 2.40v. They are probably a better matched set. I'm going to make note of the sets that don't come out as close in voltage. If there are more than one set, exact same battery type, of course, maybe I will have some that I can switch around to get better matched sets. Of course these AW LiFePO 4 battery sets I'm using are a year old, already, although not heavy used but I did have them stored, for many months, without topping them up during that time..

As long as I'm using them at home, I don't mind that they don't have optimal vape time. I'm not going to plan any trips away from house, with "other than REO" VV (without carrying a REO too, as I always do) until we get the VV Woodvils and are able to use the new AW IMR 18340s. But when we carry one REO we aways carry an extra battery or two and an extra atty/carto, for just in case. Several times I've left the house thinking I had put a fresh battery in and I hadn't. So now we always make it a habit to put a newly charged one one in, as we are leaving, and pull the extra and installed one from the back of row. The back ones are the most recently charged. At least half of our AW IMR 14500 and all of the AW IMR 18650, (we use only AW IMR 14500, 18650, and 18490) are a year old. I always make DH pack the four newest, silver marked, 14500, for his out of town trips. They even have their own row in the battery box. It is time to get a few new 14500. They will be marked with gold marker and they will be his and I'll get the silver marked ones. I'll still use the aging AWs but only at home. When they are getting "long in the tooth" not only do they not give as much vape time but they also don't hold a charge in storage box as long (self discharge rate increases.) That's the main reason I stopped using the IMR BDLs. They had a pretty fast self discharge rate, even when new. And if you have a bunch of them, by the time you get around to one that was charged a week ago it really needs another charge cycle to get adequate vape time and quality.

You, most often, get what you pay for in batteries used for high drain applications.

Alice,

The Top Batt is always going to discharge more first and be the one with the lower voltage when you take them out, check this !

This is why we mark them A-1, A-2,,,,B-1,B-2 and so on, then we rotate them so its not always the same Batt on top.

Your also going to find the Run times on the 18350 IMR's are longer when paired then the 16340 LiFePO4's .

Dont keep using those old Batts that are a year old,,,,, there internal resistance goes up and this makes them unsafe and no good. Most of these Batts have an internal resistance of 1 or 100 when new,,, and when they reach 3-300 or 4 or 400 then it is time to get rid of them.

The BDL's in my opinion are just not a great Batt, you will see a major difference against an AW,,,,

Also for 18650's in the Grand= try the newer Panasonic CGR18650CH or the Callies Kustoms ( Same thing ) , these are some super Batts too, if you want to try something other then the AW.

Lastly,,, your going to find you get much better run times in the new VV Reo with the 18350's compared to those stacked AW LiFePO4's so unless your going out for a very long time you rarely will need back ups, at least I'm finding this.

Each one is more beautiful than the one before it.
Thank you Rob for the weekend mod porn!
:hubba:

....no more REO on the standard Woodvil doors? Doesn't matter, still must have one, just curious.
There is still the reo on the door on a couple of them it is hard to see the pics don't really show the detail

Rob, just have to say the least, they look amazing! I for sure can not wait to be able to own one(if I can get hold of one of course)!
Thank you Kim151 I think everyone that wants one will get one .These wont all go on sale night

I spy our potential three. We Curly Oak lovers are lucky that so many people don't appreciate the stunning beauty of Robert's very unique Curly Oak and his ability to bring the character out in the piece!!!!!

Its does amaze me to Alice that oak is some extremely rare lumber and it is beautiful . I am just about out of the curly oak I have enough to build maybe 10 more mods with the slab I have left.Btw I do use the 18350s I can go all day on a set . I end up swapping them out later in the evening. I don't care for the smaller 16340s much not a fan of changing batteries I wanna vape uninterrupted during the day

You really outdid yourself Rob! All of these look great.
Thank you :) I really tried to make these as perfect as I possible could .

Yours is the one missing the chip cap. I plan to finish yours with a lovely a green crayola . Sorry Tripp I couldn't help myself

They are all so beautiful you could just draw a number from a hat and I would be thrilled with whichever one (or two) I got.
Thank you :)

When you look at that many Reo Mods all lined up like that and consider every single one is hand finished to perfection plus all the time it takes as well as the time to install all the innards it is just amazing. Quality, the furniture like finish, the awesome electronics, the attention paid to detail, price for what you receive, it's really quite amazing, Rob is about the fairest Vendor on the market in my opinion, as well as one super Mod maker, all in all these VV Reos are really a super deal for what we are all getting here.
