well, i know what the stabilized burl look like and i know lacewood when i see it. pretty sure i know ebony too.
I wonder if Rob will do like he did with the 18490s, put them up to look at for a day before they go on sale. That was great, cause I had a chance to pick the ones I liked with page numbers. Made my shopping a lot easier.
that would be nice because there are so many that I like and I will probably be at work on phone trying to walk some little old lady through getting to safe mode with networking and she'll probably won't know what I'm talking about no matter how much I dumb it down for her so between banging my head against my desk and trying to get the reo of my dreams it's going to be a challenge
Then if its easy for you then its easy for the person after your favorite....double edge sword...careful what you wish for.

Rob got back to me on the one I asked about and he HAS used that wood in previous production runs. I know as much about wood as I do art. Meaning, I know what I like when I see it and not much beyond that. Gonna keep my selection to myself until I can throw up some pictures of it.

I hope he does also. Really need to know how much $ I need to get one of these masterpieces. I have about 5 or so in my crosshairs. I just got some batteries ordered from oveready. It kinda like a year ago... I got my one and only grand and the batteries came from oveready

We are getting so close now! I'm getting even more excited. I popped all six of my AW IMR 18350s in the Pila today just to make sure they were topped off (for the third time)
Makes perfect sense. You know best but if you should need a suggestion on which few to put together first I know someone who may have an idea.
