I would like to offer this: Wood Properties - copyright 2005 Matt Schmill It is a very useful chart that outlines the densities of exotic hardwoods. The less exotic should be easier to find. It should help people make a decision if they are on the fence about whether or not a wood will be dense enough to take abuse. But don't abuse your REOs or I will call social services and have them remove the mods from your home enjoy.

I realized one of my favorites is a standard woodvil daggumit. I am wondering how to tell without seeing the bottom whether they are standard or vv?

The VV's are a little taller, and I think the squonkhole is a wee higher up on the door.

....also, I have my glasses on instead of the normal contacts. So I may be overlooking them. Too much time glued to the puter screen these last 48 hours.

I think below this line are the standard woodvils, plus one purple stabilized above.

Sammy, I think they are the bottom grouping and one purple stabilized towards the top.
