So okay this isn't a VV Woodvil but I love how these pictures turned out of the Curly Maple door. So any of you getting any Curly Maple it is even more beautiful than my pics. Bloodwood/Spalted Maple VV has a couple of TTs waiting that I hope will do him justice.

Flatmouth Trippy; same Trippy from each side. On 1st run REO Woodvil Purpleheart/Curly Maple. Thanks Slot-tech. We thought it might look good on my Red Stabilized REO 18490 but it looks much better on Purpleheart and the Black Palm Mini Woodvil. He may be "not fancy" but he surely is a perfect match for two of my Woodvils.

"UNSURE's LAW" Always have EVERYTHING you need in house BEFORE your REO arrives! Worst sin ever is staring at a new REO that can't be used!

Worse is staring at 8 EA new AW IMR 18350's without a vv REO to put them in. After 2 Hrs 23 Min last Saturday of pure agony I finally snagged my vv Woodvil and then immediately ordered the batts from lighthound at $7.50 EA. They're now out of stock. I certainly wasn't going to look at those batts for a month or two with hope I could snag a vv Grand. That would have really drove me nuts. Admittedly, I did my homework on batts before the sale.

Just checked my email and shipping notice for vv Woodvil sent at 3:00 am this morning. Guess I should start charging all these new batteries I got for it and try out the new charger. I've got the ejuice and attys, but I think I'll order a couple HV attys after a PM chat I had with MX late on the night of the big sale. I really never thought about the uses of a 3.0 atty before then and the possibilities sounded intriguing.

I don't need to start stalking the mailman until day after tomorrow. That shipping notice sure does make it all very real though. Maybe I'll start stalking tomorrow just to be sure. It never hurts to get in a little practice.

You make a point but consider if lighthound would have been out or (God forbid you wern't able to get a VV) those batts would have sold for twice the cost from those that were not quite as lucky as you. Most vendors are still out. Luckily it all worked out and you soon know the bliss of of using this creation of Rob's.

Boy are you all in for a treat once they arrive. These REO VVs are great. They can get the best performance from your different attys and the best taste from all your different juices.

I am mostly quiet around here, but I visit often and know most of you even though you don't really know me (Lurker? Voyeur?) Anyways, I was lucky enough to snag two during the sale -- they are on their way to the Derby city. I've got a Mini and a Grand, but never had a wooden mod before so I am very much looking forward to trying them! (And a little bit tense about having to leave town Thursday afternoon -- will they arrive before then? Who knows, but I'll be happy enough to get them next week if it comes to that.)

If anybody is keeping track of how many of the VVs went to ECF/Reonauts... +2!

These all AWIMR batts will work without spacers in the charger and as mentioned the 18350s too.

EDIT: Im sure the Pila is the top of the line charger you can buy and better quality than the ones I have. I didn't buy one for several reasons
1) I don't like using spacers
2) I would probably loose spacers (Im lame)
3) Im lazy and like hassle free usage
4) Im a tightass and try to cut cornors when possible

That said Pila owners love them to death and would never own anything else.

Tight azz here as well and I love my WF188 charges everything including my little bitty 3.2 IFR14250's

I have a very lame question as I haven't kept myself updated with all the Reo VV talk:

When the vv for the metal Reos come out, will we be able to buy parts and upgrade our existing grands and minis?
