Mine is still too elegant for me. I've thought about selling it... but I gotta have a VV Grand first ;) I love how the device works, but I just can't carry it with me most of the time because it will undoubtedly be damaged...

i know several people that would love to own it if you do decide to sell it

That's why I'm planning to buy a VV grand. I just couldn't wait and got in on the VV Woodvil. The big question will be what I do when I get the grand. I really like my Woodvil. :)

I'm taking all three VVWs to The Oasis for an outing tonight (Big floating restaurant, on the lake, with super duper live band and dancing. When they do certain songs, with lots of people dancing together, the whole restaurant "bounces" a bit in the water. Hoping the wind will be below 30mph but that will make it hotter as we will be outside. Last few times the winds have been gusting up to 45mph. Last Sat night sustained wind was 28mph till well after sundown. Needless to say REOs have to lay on their sides when not in hand. But they love it!!!!! ) They will certainly be splashed with drinks and oysters on the half shell melting ice water and more. That's the way it is and they love it!!!!:D DH doesn't like the Trippy Tips so I'll take a couple of matching CV Pawns for him to choose from.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

+1 I don't tend to collect things unless I'm really attached to them, which means the vvW won't be going anywhere. The vvG will become my work horse. Then ... what to do with my 3.7v Grand.

I take my VVW with me every where i go but when I start my new job I will probably leave it at home or just take it out for break opting for a more pocket friendly VV tube PV with a tank

Not me.

Thats why I finally went metal. Mine has only one spot and no ones allowed near it. I learned my lesson.

I'm having some trouble with my VV Reo not cutting off properly when the batteries are drained. I usually try to remember to charge my AW IMR 18350 every day but sometimes it slips my mind when the vape is so consistent. A few minutes ago the mod stopped firing so I figured I'd test the voltage on the batteries.. one of them metered at 1.94V the other at 2.23. IMHO that's kind of scary. Isn't the cut off supposed to be around 3.3 volts?

I'm not entirely sure where the chip is supposed to cut off... But, my batts are around 3.2v when mine shuts down while asking it for ~4.6v - and around ~3.0v when asking it for ~4.0v. If your batteries are AW IMR, they shouldn't be drained below 2.5v (I've read that misquoted about 200 times on ECF - Loads of people on ECF say don't drain them below 3.5v, but the AW rep on Candlepower forum says 2.5v). It is certainly worth adding that the AW guy has said draining below 2.5v shortens their useful life span - I have never once seen him say it is any sort of a catastrophic failure risk. The other thing worth noting that the AW guy has had to say is that if drained below 2.5v, an AW IMR might require a high end charger that can do a wake up pulse to revive it.

Thanks for the great info six! Right before my VV Reo cut off the vape suddenly got really weak, I thought the atty was giving up the ghost, 5-10 really weak cool hits before it finally wouldn't fire. I had it set about 4.75 volts. My fairly new Xtar WP2 II didn't seem to have trouble recharging them although it only brigs my batteries up to around 4.05 which is fine by me.

So at least compared to yours it seems like my Reo's low voltage cut off isn't functioning properly, I'd hate to send it in for repair it has hardly left my hand since I got it.. I love this Reo!

I've been thinking about your post for a few minutes.

How many sets of batteries are you cycling? And, is it only one set doing this? The possibility exists of a bad battery. Others (and myself included) have reported an even discharge: Both batts being equal voltage when coming out of the mod. Since yours aren't, I'm left wondering a little if its a weak cell and if a different set of batteries might be the answer.

And, worth mentioning - My Xtar Wp2 II charges mine to 4.15 and that's exactly what I think should be expected judging by review comments.

I've got two sets, 4 18350s in total. I'll test the second set tomorrow after I've vaped them down a little and report the results. I've only tested them once before coming out of this mod and they were pretty low (high 2s I think) but still above cut off, though they were uneven that time as well I'm not sure which set it was. I realize my Xtar seems to stop charging a bit below spec, my old ultrafire took them to 4.21. I figured it would be ok and happens with all my batteries, running it at the .5 setting, AW IMR 18650s, 14500s and the 18350s. Think I should bother exchanging it? It's only a bit over a week old from RTD.

The set that ended up with the super low volts did vape strong for quite a while, it must have been almost two days before it finally died.
