M, Last night when I talked to him he dose have plans to build a small VV mod for the mini users. It will run on two 14500's so you will not have to buy new battery's :)

Cool, (2) 14500 and a 3ml bottle would make it about 3/8" wider, plus whatever additional height he needs for vv (1/4"?). In metal, it would be just a bit larger than the Mini Woodvil. I could so live with that :)

Any idea when the VV Grand will be available? Some kind of target date?

I need to know if I need to tell Mr. Handbasket that I'm buying my own Christmas present this year. LOL

From talking to Rob the parts are still a few weeks out. Then he needs to build a few to get the proses down for production. I am sure Rob will keep every one updated as thing progress.

Rob like any mod builder will not but a hard date on them in tell he knows for sure he can make the date.

Yep, they will be side by side :)

That's great! Thanks Wayne. I love that we wouldn't have to purchase yet another different size battery. Would the VV Grand/VV Woodvil be built with the same principal in mind (side by side 18650) or has that decision not been made yet?

The reference to the side by side battery's was for a Mini VV that Rob is talking about doing down the line. He is thinking of using a set of 14500's (Time will only tell)

The Woodvil VV and Grand VV will take a set of ICR123A 3.7v or Rcr123a 3.7 or a set of Lifepo's stacked like if you were doing 6v or stacked like in the Buzz Pro.

Thanks Wayne. I think most of us have some of those batteries hanging around from other various mods anyway...LOL...
