I ordered an innokin iTaste SVD as an upgrade, but I have a view questions.

First off, I will be using a iClear X.I clearomizer which has 2.1 ohms and the battery will be a 3.7V.

Now, I am wondering how I should set my wattage and voltage. I guess my questions is what is the max I can set each too, as well as the ratios I should keep both at. I want to get the most, clearest smoke I can.

Thankyou!

You'll only need to set one or the other, it just gives you two different ways to look at the same information. (Check out the relationships in Ohm's Law)

I would generally stick to just setting the wattage and not worrying about the voltage. By setting the wattage on the device it will automatically pick the right voltage to get you to that wattage level based on the resistance of the atomizer. Basically, if you have it set to 8 watts, it will put out 8 watts no matter if the atomizer is 1ohm or 3 ohms. If you were to set you're voltage to 4v instead, this would give you one power level at 1ohm and a different (lower) power level at 3 ohms.

As far as the iClear you reference, I don't have any experience with those. In general I'd say start at a relatively low wattage and slowly work you're way up until you get the quality of vapor you are looking for (or until things start to taste burnt).

Welcome Cle440 :)

With a VV/VW, pick either Volts or Watts and start low. Then nudge your way up until you get what you like (or if you go just past, come back down.) Other folks recommend setting volts about 2 above the resistance of your coil. In your case, about 4.1 volts. I think the X.1 head is a dual coil? You might even be able to go a bit above the "Ohms + 2" rule of thumb as a starting point.

Most of my coils are around 1.8 ohms, and I have frequently been running anywhere from 9-11W quite comfortably (but most of my heads are single coil....)

Short answer, try until you find what you like :)
