what are you guys finding with your flavorings, are you refrigerating those flavorings, or how are you storing those flavorings ? I only like buying what I am going to use in a short amount of time rather then stocking a ton of them since they can be at the door step in 2-3 days, though I still have a stock of them,, I say this because I always end up dumping flavorings in 7-8 months, there not as crisp after this and I like fresh best.

The vender told me at least 1.5 year shelf life. I never worried about other flavors as after trying them once never cared to make a second bottle. It could make for a good thread on storing flavors but should really go to another thread

I keep all my flavors in a dark cool cabinet. I'm with you on the longevity of them. I get about 6-8 months, depending on the manufacturer. So far my bluemist flavors have lasted the longest.

From what I've gathered about nic storage, seems that the colder you store it the better the outcome. The cold slows down the molecules and thus the reaction of O2 & Nic. There is also some speculation that long term cold storage with VG may have better results because the VG will gel more than PG (at our freezer temps) thus slowing the reaction.

I've been DIY'ing for almost 3yrs now, the better Nic's I have always gotten where clean looking, the extraction process and Lab work , along with just an extra clear and no harsh or bad smells, and those vendors, Levy, Randy, and only 1-2 other always have a high grade it seems so I've stuck with them, I would bet VZ's Nic is coming from one of these guys or direct from China then sourced to a lab in the states then back to them.

Also these people can say what they want but, Oxygen getting at the Nic is not good guys,, and it thrives in the very cold. Look I have Nic that I have had in the test process for just over 2 yrs now, putting it in the deep freezer, in a glass bottles, filled up to the top so no air gets in,, and sealing that bottle top. It's the best way to store it in my opinion, only my opinion for what its worth, all you have to do is try this. I have the proof here at my home, the stuff left out has turned a dark golden brown and smells really bad, the freezer stored is still in great shape. Try it, that's all Im saying try it, I only keep out a small amount, then keep my small bottle that I currently use in the freezer, I take out what I need, then right back in the deep freezer, the bigger bottles I dont touch accpet when I have to ad to the smaller bottle,It all stays in that deep freezer filled to the top in the bigger bottles as much as I can, and in that freezer in a blue glass bottles.

Ask Levy, Ask Randy, ask our ECF Chemist Kurt,, the guys will tell you the same thing and its how I learned from Levy, Curt, and even Randy has said put it right in the freezer. madvapes is also doing a Nic test,, first bottle that has dropped in it's MG = Bottle left out on the window sill :)

Edit: but in the end I would rather have fresh all day long

who are Levy and Randy and where/what kind of goodies do they sell?

Here & There
I've tried 5 nic bases-- I only disliked one of the 5. Three of the other 4 when kept the same way for the same amount of time all had changed color, smell and got a more peppery bite by 90 days time. If a nic didn't change color ever I would wonder what they had put into the nic to stop that because it would have to be something pretty potent and maybe not something I'd want to vape.

This thread is a review is for VZ nic don't know how it turned into a discussion/debate of the color and purity etc. Open an new thread for nicotine discussions---Mr. Beo will get mad ....lol
