I have had a Blu for a couple of months, and have moved on to the ego twist stage, but I have to wait a few weeks until I can actally get one (i.e. afford one). I am filling my own cartos, but the novelty is starting to wear off a bit. I have not seriously considered buying analogs, but I am not getting the satifaction out of the Blu either. It may just be that I'm new and I am getting my first taste of how much analogs had a hold on me. I'm just frustrated and needed to vent.

Please don't go back to analogs, you've already made the big first step and you ought to feel pretty proud of yourself :thumb: I would get those urges out of the blue at the weirdest times, a couple times I (assume primarily out of habit) caught myself reaching for an empty spot on the counter that I had always put my smokes and lighter, kind of a real duh moment

Don't give in :)

Tough it out, if you are serious, members will be glad to send you a care pack to get through the rough times. The biggest thing that helps put the stinkies out is finding a great juice you can't live without. I know i would still smoke several a day until I found a few juices that changed everything. The blu's don't really have enough power to satisfy a hardcore smoker but if you can wait out, your cravings will get better over the next few days. And if you bum a few analogs so what. When your new device comes pick yourself back up. At least you didnt smoke a pack a day or whatever your intake was. Progress is progress, this is a learned process. Best of luck!

Unfortunately the cig alikes leave a lot to be desired. The quicker you get it out of your head you need something that looks like a cigarette the better off you will be. Lots of us started exactly where you are. the people who successfully replace cigarettes with vaping move on to something else rather quickly. I think I lasted two weeks with something like you are trying to use. I then went to ego stuff and a month later moved to VV.
You don't have to go all in like some of us do but there are much better delivery systems out there to be had for the same price your spending for the blu
Dont give up do some research get something better and you will feel much better in a few weeks! Even more better in a few months.

Stay strong!!! I have been in your shoes. Had to wait a few weeks for my first mod, and given that that was over 2 years ago, when I say mod, I really mean a cheap plastic box with no VV at all that leaked and caused all kinds of problems. But it was the step up that I needed. I was in school and forking over $50 took some planning. I vaped harder and more frequent on my cig a likes and finally had the mod in hand. It was hard, but so worth the wait. I know you can do it!!! It will make the arrival of your twists all the more rewarding and exciting.

IDK how nicotine dosage works on the BLU, but can you step up to a higher nic carto or liquid? Perhaps that will help take the edge off a little more? We are all here for ya......hang in there!

BLU sucks, just my opinion

I gotta work with what I got, which is a blu, and a dead mistic. I'm an ememployed student and got no cash right now. It got me here, so no complaints there. I know it's time to move on, but not an option at present.

I vaped harder and more frequent on my cig a likes and finally had the mod in hand/QUOTE said:
I found out that the Blu kit cartomizers only contain a MAX of 16 mg nicotine. But the Blu disposable at Walgreens contains 24 mg nicotine./QUOTE said:
I bought 18mg juice but was having a reaction to it, so I cut it a bit to match the Blu cart levels. No issues there. It is more that I am vaping like a fiend and with a Blu that is just a pain - changing batteries, refilling, etc. It'm nore that I know there is better stuff available, and I have to wait for it. I am not good at waiing.

And if you bum a few analogs so what./QUOTE said:
They are gone, and not coming back.

The last couple of months have actually been really easy for me. I think this is just part of the process we all go through.

I do appreciate everyone's comments. And I will hang in there. :)

E cigs will never be quite like cigarettes but in more was than not that's a good thing. Enjoy your new cleaner living better smelling lifestyle and I had to concentrate on better beverages because it was good to always have one around and hard sucky candies or gum because sometimes the flavor is not there depending on taste buds and sinus conditions. Sinus conditions can be there even if breathing works fine so....and good to stay hooked up with fellow vapers here on ecf. My favorite time to vape is while dinking around on this site and STILL keep learning!

Do you use high PG? Maybe it's the PG you are sensitive to. Just a thought.

It was 18mg that was causing me the issues. I switched to only VG while cutting the nic a bit to the level of the Blue Carts with is about 16mg and all was well. After going back to the PG ones, and cutting it the same, I had no more issues.

I can best describe what I am feeling as what it feels like to smoke pre-filled Blu carts. They do the trick for awhile, but then you realize that they just aren't quite enough, and that there is something better out there.

I smoked 2 pad for 30 years. It has been a couple of months now, and I am sure I am still recovering from all of that. It's a lifestyle change. Maybe finding forgotten lighters yesterday put negative thoughts in my head. IDK. I have experience with other addictions but this one is a bit different because the nicotine has remained in the picture.

What I do know is that I do not cough as much, and smelling and testing are good. And vaping is much cheaper if I can curb the shopping for new toys as many of us do. While I have support from family, I do not know anyone else who vapes beyond this forum. So, I think that trying to stay postive and hanging out here will help.

What kind of 'issues' are you having? Anxiety?
