DC2, a better thing to do would be instead to try and convince the administrators of the hospital why allowing vaping is good for their patients. The administrators aren't going to give a *bleep* about one vaper doing what you propose. They will just use you as an example to everyone else at the hospital why they are right.
But, if you do it civilly and back it up with CASAA research, you might win more hearts and minds.
But that's just my way of looking at it. (Unless you can get 1000's of vapers to join you who live in that area.)
Unfortunately, my personal belief is that it's not going to achieve anything... this is not about science or logic anymore. Several studies have already been made, and even my 15-year old daughter understands them... I cannot honestly believe ANTZ's (as most hospital administrators seem to be) are actually that dumb as to not understand the advantages of the e-cig. Trouble is, those people are usually blinded by ideology, and we cannot surelly fight an illogical argument with proper science and logic...!
Given the overwhelming evidence on the advantages of the e-cig, some ANTZ's are already arguing that "it may be well and true, but our concern is that it still normalizes smoking"... so, they see it has real benefits, but it is against (their) social norm. And what about the health benefits of real people out there ?? Effe us, right ??
Like all arguments presented, this one is also illogic by itself: if the e-cig normalizes something, it must be quitting tobacco !!
(Imagine an ex-drunkard, who suddenly manages to switch to non-alchoolic beer, exclusively, for five years in a row. So, this guy stands sober at the bar, holding a bottle whose label is clearly diferent from the 'regular beer' label... all of a sudden, a Puritanist accuses him of promoting alchool abuse...? )
