RDA Wanna Drip...tip

Hey guys.

I've been vaping for about a year and now I'd like to get a drip tip for my Kanger subox Nano (510): the question is which one? I've only used pre-built attys up until this point, so could you give me any starters or Youtube videos to watch. I'd like to vape sub-ohm. How do you know what gauge wire to use? Would you recommend a single coil setup?

Thanks,
Choui

Here is a drip tip: me thinks you don't know what "drip tip" means :)

A drip tip is the thing you put your lips on. A dripPER, or RDA, is the entire device that sits on top of your mod.

People like to recommend the Velocity as a good starting point because it's easy to build on. I've never been a huge fan myself. But I do like other 2-post attys...

I started with a Mutation X v4. Learned me well.

Good luck!

The Velocity V2 is a good starting....and ending RDA. It may be all you ever need.
How do you know what gauge wire to use?
Steam Engine. Experience. You have to build, vape and adjust to meet you desired vaping experience.
Would you recommend a single coil setup?
Absolutely. Fast to coil, fast to wick and generally easier on your batteries for extended vape times...

Before recommending anything, I think the question that needs to be asked, is what you are looking for in you dripper.
Flavor? Huge clouds? Middle of the road?
For single coil setup, I'd not recommend the velocity myself, as there is no way to limit the airflow to 1 side only.

As far as wire goes, 26gauge kanthal might be a good starting point, but it will somewhat depend on your choice of atomizer.

For single coil, there is most likely better options out there.
I absolutely agree :) . My suggestion of the V2 is based on it being the most utilitarian of options: Flavor, clouds, single/multiple coil support, adjustable airflow and native bottom feed combined with outstanding build quality and responsive warranty support. It is the jack-of-all trades, but perhaps the master of none.
