This was posted by Rob (redeyedancer) just last night. "Yes I will put up metal mods next week .I have 430 grands going out for tumbling Tuesday and 300 mini mods. I have to work on metal all next week so I can have time for the wood mods."
REO's are made by one man. They are not mass produced. Rob has been very busy putting out the Woodvil and Mini Woodvils. He had Grands and Mini's on site through much of the time.
He is now starting a new project producing a Midi Woodvil. The wood REO's are unique and handcrafted. So, buying a REO might be a little wait. But the quality PV you receive is well worth it.

The anodizer that Rob is using at this time is not doing purple. Will have to wait and see if this changes.

So the color comes from the anodize and not paint? If so that's interesting. Of course paint would wear and peel but if it's in the anodize, it's imbedded in the metal. Pretty kewl if it works like that.

:)

MacDiver, I see you have a polished black. That is not only anodized, it was hand polished BEFORE it was anodized. I see people refer to the color polished finish as "clear-coated"; that is not the case. The polished black is the result of careful hand crafting. The finishes of the REOs are as meticulous and durable as the rest of the mod.
