:confused:basically do i want to get the kayfun 3.1 the kayfun lite or the russian 91%??

Pros on cons from anyone that has one. I would really like to get one but I first want to know which i would like.

I was thinking the lite? IDK but it seams i have heard more people with them and noticed more accessories and such, AFAIK the only real differences besides tank capacity is the bottom and this is what i am wondering about.

I have an Aqua and LOVE this type of atomizer but i would like a kayfun for its larger tank. Visible tank and the simplicity of the single coil (i know i can with the aqua but would rather use a device the way it was made to be used.

sorry for long post:facepalm:

:confused:So yeah long post for simple question WHICH Kayfun to get?

Honestly, you really can't go wrong with all three of those. All are very good and all work the same. I prefer my kayfun Lite + over the 3.1 and the Russian by only the smallest margins. I do like the larger tank on the Lite + and I feel it's machined a little better than the Russian IMO and it's a smaller size than the 3.1 which cuts down the weight a tad. I noticed on your post you said a Lite and not a Lite +. Lite doesn't have AFC, while the lite + does. So thats a big game changer right there.

I have ehpro Kayfun lite plus and love this little sucker. Once you find a wick that works good for you, it's painless to use. It's just fill, hit the button, and puff away. Consistent hit after hit after hit. The thing has a lot of parts, a lot more than i'm used to coming from carto tanks, evods, PT's, stuff like that. But it's actually fun to build and put together and clean, and repeat. You can dial in the right air flow with a screw on the bottom. It's not really messy to refill if you're careful. And it looks great. It is heavy too. I put it on my MVP2 and it actually made that thing top heavy if you can believe that. I want more of them! More, more, more!

I have the russian 91% (the one from kebo) and LOVE it!!! Build quality is super super super good, buttery threads, produces the best flavor I've ever had, warm vape and is easy to refill as it has the fill hole on the bottom. I know with some of the kayfun models you have to unscrew the top and fill then partially screw the top on, turn over then finish screwing the top on. Or you can fill them through the airhole but I heard that's not good to do? My cousin got an hcigar 3.1 clone and loves it but I've used both and prefer the russian personally.

Pretty sure the Kayfuns (3.1, Lite, Lite+) all fill through a screw hole in the the bottom. All of mine did. Some people fill from the top because they feel it's easier than using the bottom fill hole. None, to my knowledge, are filled through the air hole.

I spent a lot of time researching these also when I was looking to buy one. I got the newer Kayfun Light Plus, shorter than the 3.1, sealed fill hole on bottom, and adjustable 510.

Not sure if there available threw any us vendors yet but you might also check out The EXpromizer. It just like the kayfun but a bit improved upon. Larger build deck, and you can change wick/coil without having to dump you liquid which is a big plus in my book.

Actually wanted to mention that my ebay clone (of god knows what it is really) has extremely smooth a silky threading. Once they catch, you don't feel nor hear a thing. It did whistle, but that's an easy fix.

THANKS for ALL the Helpful Information, although i now have a few questions to get it straight and about accessories,

SO First my current understanding of the devices.

Kayfun 3.1
: largest device, (largest tank?), AFC and JC?

Kayfun lite: Smaller base all same as 3.1 but no AFC or JC?

KFL+: Smaller base design than 3.1 but same functions AFC and JC?

Russian: I dont really understand this one i thought its basically a KFL+ but came out when the KFL did so it wast first to be small base with b oth AFC and JC?

Also on tank sizes from largest to smallest

  1. KF 3.1
  2. KFL & KFL+ possibly Russian too?

Now Accessory Questions

The Hybrid adapter
(i have only seen one on Slow Tech LOL) first does it work for all versions or just the 3.1 (i will look into this too today) Also My Nemesis is sorta busted and i love hybrids so much (aqua and origin made me see the light of virtually no voltage drop) That i am wondering what devices are the same threading as the nemesis as i don't really want another but will if its best for a kayfun hybrid.

NANO kit, say if the hybrid adapter only works with the 3.1 and with the large base maybe i might decide to use the nano kit to make it smaller. does the nano kit work for all KF designs (I frankly don't know the difference is with the Russian though)

PMMA Parts, Basically what has been your experience with these i think they look cool but besides being susceptible to STRONG tank crackers as Acrylic is AFAIK the strongest plastic currently used with e cig stuff. I have an RSST and it i believe uses the same plastic and the only thing i was worried about were my sweetened custards (IDK if they use sweetener in any i use though) so AFAIK since i don't vape cinnamon, citrus or pluid like liquids, So i don't believe their would be any problems) I also like the quartz tank out their but i heard its not pocket friendly as the tank can be slightly moved in your pocket and it will leak out So IDK about that just yet as its about the same price as a KF clone

Last For Now

Vendor?

I know this is probably the most difficult thing to ask AFAIK we can only talk about forum approved vendors in topics, I know there is a page but there are so many to go through if you already know maybe you can post a link to a good deal, or from a known good manufacture. (as most sellers don't disclose the company's that the clone was made by but some clone companies are better than others some are almost 1:1 some are almost different devices, lol. I know the threading on my Aqua Clone are shallow or something as they wobble. In all if you can post links here GREAT if not PLEASE PM ME and tell me i am not allowed to put this in my post so i can edit it especially if i get the right information.....

THANKS SO MUCH AND SORRY i feel Im asking a lot but there so many questions but their are so many variations on this device especially if you are talking clones (i think even if your anti clone a clone is at least a beta test if you really want to or can spend the money, I cant :( )

has anyone tried the kayfun clones from FastTech? I want to get a KF myself, and obviously I want a legit version, but for 20$ from FS I'm considering ordering one just to give it a try

I have a 3.1ES from ebay. And 1 from FT. They are basically identical. The base has a needle fill valve and not the screw in the bottom. Lawdy lawdy is the screw easier. The airflow is DRASTICALLY superior to the 91% clone I have. (with the thinner base and screw fill hole under it.) All of them work. The R91% is from FT. It works.

I'm not a direct lung type of vaper and never really have airflow problems on anything. But I found the R91% mildly restrictive even at full open. Maybe it's just the whistle that's throwing me off but the 3.1 at 75% open seems to be ideal.

All the bits and pieces from whichever fit each other. I have a nano kit on the 3.1ES and have used the mini one piece tank on it as well. I have a clear body kit and it fits the Russian. It fits the 3.1. The chimney, tank sections, caps, all seem to fit on whichever I put them on.

I do not have a KFL+. Maybe I should. But from what I can tell these all work. Even the clones. And as long as you avoid chromed brass things... you should be fine.

Side note;
If you are coming from an Aqua, yes the KF is simpler. Yes you will like it. No it is not as good of a vape. IDC what unicorn coil you put in the KF the Aqua is just set up for duals and it's just better. It is also a huge PITA compared to the KF IMO. But the vape quality IS better IMO. Given the KF's convenience tho. I use the KF and hardly the Aqua any more.

When I buy something and pay $100.00 I don't want to "fix" it, I just want it to work out of the box and R91 did just that for me. I received a clone that had smooth threads, whistled but smelled and tasted like metal which the r91 didn't out of the box but I cleaned it anyway for good measure.

LOL of course, but question here is how to NOT spend the extra $70 if you really don't have to.

@lebeatnik - remember that Russian and Russian 91% are different. Rus = Kayfun 3.1, 91% = Lite+.

On the air draw note, my clone is almost a bit too much wide open as well, and I generally do long lung hits, so that tells you something. I run my Fogger wide open most of the time as well.

Avg ML is 4.5 - some minor variations.

Nano kit - Reduces Height / Reduces Volume, maybe 2-2.5ml. Nano is removing the largest storage area of the tank - the upper area.
Does not fit ALL models - verify

Fasttech Hybrid adapter is 3.1 only replacing the Catch base
PMMA for Look, if you like it - Do NOT use with tank crackers, some are very strong and will win. Metal tank only recommended.

Fasttech Kayfuns - Most are good - Read forum review on each.
$14 Kayfun lite - not a 1:1 clone but looks correct externally and Vapes very good. Hey, it's only $14
Even the Cheapo Rocket Tank (ClownFun - lol) is a Great Vaping machine @ $13. Even has AFC
