What i did, I picked up an E-cig from 7-11 on a saturday just to try it out. I also bought a pack of analogs. I tried to smokle just the e-cig and every time i got an urge for an analog I had one. After a couple of days i noticed that my throat and lungs couldnt handle the analogs any more and by the thrusday after i baought the e-cig i was totaly off analogs. And now i love vaping, and have bought a Joye 510 and love it. Dont know if this helps, but it worked for me. :vapor:

Yep, mindset has to happen. Bought my 1st e-cig the first part of June and messed with it for 3-4 weeks, then got some cartomizers and got a better TH so I thought this might work, my tobacco is 24mg, smoker for over 47 years. read some more and bought the V4L XL's manual and it was much better experience, Put down the reg cigs July 2nd, the mornings were the worst for a week or so but I made my mind up this was what I was going to do and I did it. So can you

You know I thought about that, and it very well maybe just a "mindset" issue, As for me I have been vapping battery butts, for almost 8 months, tried one of those stinkies, and got really high, because I thought of it..........oh the cig was over 8 months old, that didn't help. With that said, I'll stick with my battery butts.

I had to quit so please don't wait that long! Anyway, while we got duped into paying WAY too much at a mall kiosk for a couple of 510 attys, a battery and a 5ml bottle of juice, I quit that afternoon, smoking my last analog out in the mall parking lot. I'm not going to tell you it was a piece of cake - there were times I still reached for the phantom pack - but after trying EVERY quitting device on the market and the pill (they make those in Dante's ninth ring...) it was the easiest way for me to go. My husband, who'd smoked 2+ pad Camel Lights for decades, quit four days later. For us, trying to imitate the exact taste of an analog didn't work as well as vaping the flavored juices. At first we saved a lot of money...then I started collecting PV's...and collecting juices...and making juices. lol
What it all boils down to is making up your mind when it's best for you. I can promise you it will be the best decision you ever make.

It took my about a month to completely stop analogs. I'd have one on the morning and one on the way home from work - the two times when my
nic fits were the worst. Don't be too obsessed with when you completely switch (unless it's for severe medical reasons of course), just know that
it will happen.
I had a relapse last week after 3 months and bought a pack. :( Got through 3 and had to force myself to put it in the trash.
I have to admit that when I got up today and realized I'd be home by myself all day I actually thought for 1 second about getting it out of the
trash can.... Thank god it's trash pick up day!

It's one of the hardest things to quit cigarettes. This is the easiest way to do it. IMHO of course. :) You'll get there.
And I started with 36 which was too high, cut to 24mg, and just went down to 18mg. Which is probably why I relapsed.
Find what works for you, don't worry about the level. :)

I have had a bb for over a month not I still can't seem to make the break from analog cigs to e-cig totally, is this a mindset that has to happen???

Mindset + nicotine level to satisfy the urge and "hit" you get from analogs. I use a 36mg 100% VG when I feel the urge; it's simply incredible and almost too good.....

Over time, the call of the analogs gets weaker and weaker. I left my last half pack of Marlboros on the patio and look at them every day. No_way would I pick up one now. A month ago I didn't think I'd ever say that.

There might be any number of reasons why it is hard for someone to get away from the cigarettes.
And there are a number of suggestions that might help for each of those reasons.

So I guess my question would be, can you pinpoint anything in particular that makes a cigarette appealing to you?
It there anything in particular that makes the electronic cigarettes less than desirable sometimes?
