It sounds as if I may have to try some different ohm attys. I have several of the 2.0 smokteks coming from REOSMODS.com. They were only like 3.00 each. Is there much of a difference between them and the Ciscos in either performance or price?

How you likin that mini Shadco?

Well it's not Blue. :)

But otherwise as along as I don't flood the atty it's great. On par with dripping directly into the atty for flavor and vapor production and the drip tip stays on for days.

I do have some 306 Cisco's coming.

Cisco's vs others I don't have an opinion since Cisco's are the only 510's I've tried.

Bro, that's funny, because I wanted either a red, silver or black! But the price for the blem was hard to pass up. We could trade doors out and have the best of both worlds?

Thanks for the feedback on the Ciscos too.

fwiw I've found 1.8 cisco's work pretty well with the high vg content allusion juices I seem to favor.

Reading posts reminded me that although I do okay with the 1.5 Joye attys, or others, DH can't do 1.5 ohm. So last time I ordered attys for DH I had to search for and eventually found some at 1.7-1.8 that are better for him and perhaps better for his higher VG level than I usually vape. We both do sweet juices with a high percentage of butterscotch. I'll see if I can find where I got them. They cost more than the Joye, though, especially Joye sold in bulk like the link Nerak posted. It's hard to find better price than Genuine Joye 510 1.5 Ohm LR electronic cigarette 10-pack of black atomizers

I like the Joye 1.5 ohm better than the Smoketech and they seem to last longer, after several months of use, cleaning them frequently to keep them fresh. (Before I threw out all of my long-in-the tooth emergency attys because I'm now using mostly rebuildable attys and wick and coil will always be available for them, I had some 2 yr old, rotated for months attys. They hardly ever died; they just got old and weak.)

For both DH and I, vaping at 3.7v, REOs that are not VV, 2.0 ohms is too cool. 1.5 ohms is too hot for him. Close to 1.7 ohms is a nice compromise. DH and I have very different vaping technique. That may be the reason 1.5 is too hot for him and not me.

Here's where I ordered the 1.8 ohm 510 attys last time. I'm looking for better prices right now. I don't like the Bauways, btw.
IKV 510 LR Atomizer 1.8Ω

It seems easier to find the 1.7ish 306 ohm at good prices. I've always liked the Cisco 306 or Ikenvape but other people have their favorites or favorites due to price.

510 is generally a more user friendly atty than most other types. And the selection of DTs is vast compared to other types.

Some people prefer the bridgeless attys. There are some good prices for them. I'm not as crazy about them unless it's a debridged/dewicked and only for testing juices. Being a lazy vaper I find them with bigger learning curve and require squonking more often to keep them appropriately wet. My method of cleaning, gentle boiling and not too zealous dry burning keeps wick/coil/bridge fresh enough. That's one reason I like the Joye as they have proven to withstand weeks/months of boiling cleaning and dry burning.

Be advised all.... It's much easier, even for an accomplished dry-burner, to pop a 306 or io6 dry-burning. Others that pop easily are the replaceable, screw-on attys for Vision tanks.

DO NOT ever dry burn a carto with filler. It will, for certain, scorch the filler.
