Don't buy a kit, just find some recipes you want to try, I reckoned recipes with different brands of flavors, order those flavors, nic, I recommend 100mg/ml., pg if you want it, vg and a scale. Defiantly recommend mixing by weight. You want something to mix in, I mix right into the bottle I'm going to store it in, or a beaker bc I use a magnetic stirrer to help steep. Those are the main things I did and I didn't waste too much money and I think I'm doing the best way I could figure out. Lids of other ppl will chime in I'm sure. Don't just but flavors that sound good, buy what it takes to make a couple recipes you think sound good, I think that's a mistake lots of ppl make.

Getting started, figuring out what to get was my hardest part of DIY. I bought some flavorings I thought sounded good then added to some of my vendor juices to change the taste, it was successful in the most part. Once I broke the ice I began to make single flavor juices to test what to expect in the flavorings so I can weed out the ones I didn't like. I still to this day 2 years later still only blend a couple flavors together. The biggest mistake new DIY'rs make is they expect a clone recipe to be like the vendor juice and then faced with disappointment. Take DIY step by step with lots of research, comparing and mixing then soon you'll be vaping happily your own homebrew.

between here and there
Thanks guys. I did end up buying a kit off Amazon that had syringes glass bottles nicotine and vg and pg but I got a set of 10 Lorann flavors and I'll start from there. I watched a few YouTube videos and it doesn't seem that hard with the calculators out there. I'll let you all know how it goes.
Please make sure that the Lorann flavors you purchased are water soluble and not oil based. Oil based flavorings for vaping is a big no-no.

I would suggest starting with small volume and with small % at first. It is always much easier to add than to try and correct for too much flavoring.
Try just one flavor at a time each in their own bottles, so you can get a taste and feel of whether you like it.
And keep good notes on how much of everything you are adding to the bottle.
The hard part is finding a flavor that you like.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

:)

The easy way to start is to make a batch of unflavored nic/pg/vg in 120ml bottles. You can experiment with flavors by adding the recipe drops to a smaller amount of the unflavored mix to see what you like. Mix up 5 or 10ml of a flavor using the unflavored mix as a base and test vape it. Once you know what you like you can mix those in larger amounts. The unflavored base is also good to vape by itself.

Keep records so you know what you mixed and how it turned out. Months from now you'll want to make that mix again.

Try some Hangsen, The Flavor Apprentice, and Flavourart flavors. Be sure that your Lorann's flavors aren't oil based. Oil is the enemy when you are vaping and inhaling.

hey all, I have been vaping for about a year and consume about 30ml of 3mg juice a day. I want to get into DIY juicing but I want to know what the best kit is out there. Any suggestions?

Well, that was fast. I never could cotton up to Loran flavors. Use small percentages.

Making juice is easy. Making good juice is a little more difficult. :)
