I am not looking for huge clouds its more about the flavor, I have a few efest 18650s and a few efest 18350s lying around
the red ones. would these be ok to use ? Id probally want a smaller mech mod so something in the 18350 size

if you dont care about clouds I would get a variable wattage box mod rather than a mech. Eleaf istick or Cana clone fairly cheap but still decent quality. RDA..... anything with simple 3 post design. I personally love the tugboat and you can get clones online for under $20. I vape a Vapor Shark rDNA w my Tugboat with a single coil at 1.5 ohms at 18 watts and its tremendous. My personal preference is a cool vape. Thats why I love this setup. I get just as much vapor as most dual coils at a much lower temperature. And I use way less juice this way.

Even if you do care about clouds, a VW mod is the way to go IMO. Get something with plenty of power. 50 watts or more. You don't have to use all that power all the time, but you may want to someday and it's nice to have the option. Also, some juices taste better with lots of heat.

As for something that takes an 18350, seriously don't bother. It's way more hassle to have all the batteries you need on you all the time than to just have a bigger mod.

I disagree with finding something with a 3-post design. The positive T-post design makes it much easier to get even-firing coils in dual mode. And most can still be used in single coil mode. Honestly, even a 2-post design seems easier to do duals on to me.

All that being said, I really like my Nemesis and Magma combo.

First, I would get a couple good 18650 batteries. If you can find them, the Sony VTC are about as good as it gets IMO. As for a mechanical, I spend a little more cash for nice devices, this goes for RDA's and RBA's as well. I am just not a fan of cheap clones but it's all preference. The majority I see complaining about devices are those that buy cheap clones. Save up some cash and start a nice vape setup. Also, search for some cool coil calculators and read up on Battitudes battery blogs.

I don't care what anyone else says, if you want flavor, and an atty that doesn't leak, go with the Veritas. To me, no atty gives better flavor. The Magma is also nice, and is an easier build.

I'd also say forget the Mechs for right now*, get a nice Hana box, or do what I did, get an IPV2 or 3 to slap that puppy on.

*-not against Mechs, as I have a Manhattan and a Stingray X, but I think the regulated Mods are more forgiving of beginner builds.

The guy is pondering 18350 setups so size may be a consideration - high powered box mods not so much.

You won't get a lot of oomph out of your red Efest 18350s. They have a pretty bad voltage drop and won't give a proper vape for long... not very long at all. Your best bet in the 18350 size is the AW IMRs or purple Efests.
