I just want to thank all of those who have helped myself and my hubby out to get us started.

I was hoping to be able to do the same in the near future, but that isn't going to happen. I wish it would. My hubby just lost his job today (and he was the only one working). He hasn't even been paid for the last 2 weeks of pay let alone the 3weeks he is owed. We think this division of his company went under and didn't tell anyone. We don't really know anything right now. Why? What happened? Will we be paid? Those are the pending questions at the moment. More than likely he will lose that $ owed to him for the last 3 weeks. All we can do is wait and pray.

So, with what has happened I don't know how long we will be vaping (altho we love it). Once the juice runs out, that is it. Same for the analogs (which we haven't really touched since we started).

So, wish us luck, hopefully we find out what is going on. Maybe in the distant future we will be able to PIF if and when we get back on our own feet. Like so many out there, we are now all in the same boat without paddles. If you are in this same situation- I feel your pain, I feel your stress, I share your feelings of not knowing if there will food on the table and electric on to run your stove to cook the food. Things were bad for us, but we got by, barely, but we did. Now who knows. So if I disappear from the forum, it is not because I am ungrateful- it is because my internet was shutoff.

Thanks again- and I am sorry if I inappropriately posted this here.

May you all have a better year in 2011! I know I will be hoping for it. Hugs to you all!

Sincerely,
Demoness

Demoness, please PM me with your vaping needs. Would love to help.

I know what it's like to be unemployed and without cash for comforts. When my wife and I were first starting out as starving students, I remember one time when we dug change out of wherever we could find it, and then had to choose between taking the bus, or walk the four miles in order to be able to afford a pack of cigarettes. It got better for us, and I know prayerfully, that you'll come out okay.

Again, please PM me with a list.

You know, I am a true believer in "manifestation" (not the instant sort) but the way i believe it. You make what you concentrate on happen.

If you think " I don't want to get fired" you are thinking of getting fired... so you get fired.

but if you think "I want to keep this job" You will keep the job

this is probly because on some unconscious level you are causing yourself to worry and make small mistakes and second guess everything if you are worried about being fired

but if you think about keeping the job, you are subconsciously telling yourself to do a better job

same thing goes in situations like what you are in.

don't think "I don't know if we can make it through this"

You will find your self depressed and it won't get any better

Think "We can do this, things will work out."

You will find yourself in a better mind set and things will work out in the end.

Try to stay on the positive side of things, it helps a-lot

Thankyou everyone. It is all very much appreciated. I think we have enough juice to last us for a couple weeks- idk since we are still figuring out how much we vape. If we start to run low before we get $ coming in - I will post on here. You are all wonderful!

Now, to answer some questions- he applied for unemployment today. If they approve his unemployment, it will be 3 wks before we see any checks. So until then we have no $ coming into the house.

We use 510's and 18-26mg juices, but like analogs, will use anything we get! LOL But like I said, we do have some samples that a couple other members have sent, a bottle of peppermint from lynleestar from a lot she was giving away. So, I think we should be ok for a little while. If we get desperate and get really low, I will post something on here or in the emergency section- I am hoping we won't have to do that- I don't like taking advantage of anyone!

Zadane- that really is some good advice. We had never thought he was going to get fired or laid off. This was a huge surprise to both of us along with everyone at that office since the whole office seems to have been let go. We are still freaking out because of the pay owed to him. If they had paid him and just given everyone a pink slip on monday when he went into work it would not be so bad. At least we would have been able to know our rent and some bills would have been paid for January.

We are trying to keep our heads up, but at times it is very difficult. I am working with our Housing Authority to try and get our part of the rent adjusted or completely paid for January so that we can possibly use what little bit we have to pay other utilities. Also I believe 2 of his now Ex-Supervisors that this also happened too are in the process of obtaining lawyers to do a Class Action Suit ( at least this is what I am hoping they meant when they told my hubby they were looking into lawyers) for the pay owed. We need to get a hold of them and ask to know for sure.

We are doing our best. I know there are so many out there (both on the forum and in general) in this same situation. I know things will get better in time. We WILL get through this eventually. It is just very daunting atm.

Thank you all for your offers, warm wishes, and pick me ups. I may just have to use some of the offers- but I want to wait till we are in desperate need! Like I said before- I do not wish to take advantage of anyone and their kindness :)

So take care all of you and thanks again. *Hugs*

demoness hang in there. Hubby went through this TWICE. The first time, we had one child, the second two.
It's amazing how companies can keep something like this to themselves and not think twice about their employees.
I don't know how we managed but we made it through. I know it's a hit against the pride but please take a look at places that can help you through this. I hope you have family you can look to for help.
Most of all, keep your outlook positive---things will change.
Add my name to the list for juice, I'll be more than happy to send some.

If Lulu is uncomfortable to give out her number and addy, I have a niece close to you you may use as a lifeline to us in case of internet loss. I have been there, as we all have. There is no shame in falling on hard times. There is a shame in being too prideful to reach out for help. I have suggestions
1. look into social service agencies and churches that provide financial help
2. Check into food stamps program, you are at the very least eligible for this month and perhaps longer
3. Check your local food banks, they are usually posted online and there should be several in your area
4. PM me for a phone number, addy and give me yours so I can be sure you have what you need, please tell us your preferred e-liquid flavors.....mints, tobaccos, sweets, bakery, fruits and let us all know how many attys/cartos you have and how many batteries. Those experienced here will determine what your needs may be.
Keep your head up and one step/day at a time
Hugs
Bonnie

" Whatever the mind believes, it will produce the evidence to support it"..Dale Carnegie or Zig Ziggler..not sure.
Other than that, keep the faith hun. The good Lord always seems to show up in the nick of time.
As far as liquid and equip, I can help out there as well. But keep us informed, as this place can make things happen if need be. Its kinda what we do ;)
