I'm glad you're looking into this.

I would love to find out if Vermont Vapor "makes their own" but is still using nicotine juice that they get from China. I am pretty sure, almost to the point of being positive, that Johnson Creek does NOT do that though, and if I cared enough I would make the effort to ask them myself.

Personally I think there are 4 "flavors" of juice.

Flavor 1 - A company uses different suppliers for the raw ingredients of the juice then mixes and flavors their own recipe. I'm pretty sure JC falls into this category.

Flavor 2 - A company uses a premixed unflavored base from a supplier such as Dekang, then flavors their own.

Flavor 3 - A company adds a couple more drops of flavor to an already flavored juice from a supplier such as Dekang.

Flavor 4 - A company is a direct reseller of unchanged juice from a supplier such as Dekang.

I would love to be able to put a flavor category next to the companies as well, but I'm sure we'll never be able to get that kind of detail.

But, to all of you out there, if you know, let me know, and I'll add it to the information.

I think there may be a 5th category.
A company has Dekang create a custom mix for them, and then sells it as it comes from them, seals intact.

ECOpure is the product name, not the company. I believe ECOpure (which is a non-PG formula, all VG) is made by Intellicig in the UK, and the U.S. distributor is Innovapor.

So maybe it should be like this?

Innovapor = ECOpure
Intellicig = ECOpure

Excellent thread! I feel much better when suppliers disclose what they have. Personally I wont buy mystery juice and I don't like having to ask the source. It should be on their website. Whether it's strait up from the mfg or if they mix their own flavorings I want to know. I'm cool either way just as long as they let us know what we're buying.

Good Prophets carries both DeKang and SLB brand (confirmed by Rob).

Ecigmall uses DeKang (unconfirmed, but packaging on their bottles is identical to the DeKang I received yesterday from Vapor4Life).

And WidowsBeadwork uses Joye brand, don't see her on the list...

If you're into the "fruity" flavors, try her Apple, it tastes EXACTLY like a green jolly rancher. Smelling the bottle actually makes me hungry! I'm currently hording my last 1/2 ml, waiting for another shipment to arrive, LOL. Also love her Menthol. And I've heard great things about her Coffee too, trying that one next...

HeavenGate/ruyandirect has 'special formulations' that they can request from Dekang so that - for a recent example - they redid their Cappuccino. So that it is differnent than the Dekang Cappuccino that would ship out to other vendors. Supposedly, any vendor could request special formulations. So in that case it isn't done 'in house' but the flavor isn't universally 'Dekang' under the flavor label. I believe ruyandir's Ruyan#4 is also a bit different than the 'Dekang' Ruyan#4 - not certain on that but there's an old 'news' item on ruyandir stating that the cap and ruyan 4 were 'new' flavors. (or something along that line without looking it up).

edit: btw, imo, there was a batch of dekang that was different, than their earlier stuff and the more recent stuff - say 4 weeks ago - that had a stronger tobacco hit (could be something else but don't think it was spoiled or anything like that. - just came across as 'tobacco bite'), that wasn't in the first orders I got from eastmall and ruyandirect specifically and isn't in the latest orders from ruyandirect. Noticed it in Ruyan 4, Hilton, Kent, Flue cure, Virginia - ie. all the tobacco based flavors. Turned me off because the first batch of that, that I got was from eastmall - you'll see mention of it at the time in my posts. But the latest batch from ruyandirect was back to the smooth tobacco of Ruyan#4, Hilton and Kent anyway.

Updated list.. Also, does anyone know what brand of juice comes in the clear bottles with white caps and clear, round stickers - one for the flavor name and one for the strength? This is what SaveASmoker sells and I really like his juice. I have tried Dekang and Nuvape and IMHO his is much better than either of them.

I'm thinking it's Joye, but I'm hoping someone else can confrm. But if you go to Widow's site and look at the bottle pics I think those are possibly what you're talking about. I have a few bottles too from somewhere.

I'm surprised that Widow and I are the only ones (on this thread so far) that sell Joye's liquid. I know the bottles you are talking about and we carried them for awhile but bought them from WYE. I didn't care for the heavy perfume smell and taste.

She sent a bottle of apple along with the starter kit that I ordered from her...it's good stuff, too.
