Here's a simple tip.....

DO NOT let the juice level get much below the juice channels/cutouts on the factory coils.

Sounds simple, but one T8 coil I have been using for over 5 weeks has had the tank refilled religiously when the juice level drops to near the top of the coil. 5 WEEKS and 300ml of juice and still chugging along. This coil will not die!

Another T8 went to a party with me and I wasn't paying attention and drained to just below 1/2 way down the juice channels a few times and it was toast within a week. Same mod, same juice.

Same issue with both the Baby coils and the Cloud Beast coils.

Also, MUCH greater chance of leakage IME if you vape the tanks almost dry and refill. Almost all of my TFV8 leaking issues have been due to refilling almost empty tanks.

I haven't had these issues happen with Kanger, Crown, Tobeco and/or various Aspire coils, but these big buggers are a different animal for sure.

These coils are expensive as hell, so I thought I would share my experience. If it saves anyone a few bucks.... cool.

Cheers.

One of my friends kanger subox or something started leaking after he blew into the tip instead of inhaling.

I can't see why you say there is greater chance of leakage with a lower liquid level but running a coil dry will always shorten the life. Also another variable is amount of usage the coil gets per day as I am still on my first coil going on two week now but it only gets between 6 and 10 MLs pushed through it per day. Another factor is how high you have the power cranked up and running it low. I tend to run my as low as I can to change flavors but roll the remaining liquid around the coils instead of dumping it down the sink.

How high you running the wattage on yours? The highest I have fired mine is 35 watts and normally around 30 watts. I don't care what the recommended is because it works great and has lasted over a week with easily 60MLs pumped through it. Just because you can run it wide open things tend to last longer cruising instead of at the Red Line.

I was running mine at 60-70 watts and according to them they should easily be able to handle that

Yeah and they like to sell you coils. I found that it works great at 30 Watts by starting low and working my way up once I started passing 35 watts I did not like the vape. I want a smooth cool vapor and that is probably why I like SS316L for TC mode!
