so AW IMR 2000mAh isnt a good match with the Grand?
Kind of a bummer as I have a bunch of those, kind of bummed now as it's pushed my purchase back a little till I can afford new batteries. :(

Yeah, so "no", so "yeah". AW 2000s are great, recommended right alongside the 1600s. Go for it, you're set.

I use 2000's and never had a problem. They work fine. I build my coils about .8 - 1.0. batteries never even warm.

yeah i never said they were bad.....i was only saying the differences......as long as you aren't going below .5 isn then your fine on the 2000's.......i re read my post and saw where people could think i was talking bad about them.....LOL

Thanks guys, yeah my coils are not sub ohm and dont really have any plans on going there. I am between 1.2Ω and 1.5Ω with all my coils.

Krazirob, I didnt take as you talking so called bad about them, I was just unsure if they would work. I know I use them in my other 2 Mechs without issue, just thought there might be something to do with the Grand not liking them. Thanks for the clarification!

Best advice any of us can give u.... Just buy one. We all had this same discussion before we spent the money and 90% of us now have 2 or more.

Yea this thread isn't so much about "should I buy one" more about "what options should I get when I buy one"

:)

Thanks guys!

Thanks guys!

Some extra post screws for the RM2, easy to lose. Maybe a thicker o ring, the RM2 will come with the 1mm ring, several prefer the 1.5 mm ring. Maybe a spare spring since they act as a fuse and collapse if you get a short.

Also!!! The smaller rdas like the RM2/ERA/Chalice and so on provide amazing flavor due to the small chamber. I've found that I get the same level of flavor from a .8 coil on my ERA as a .4-.5 coil on my big dual coil Patriot, just less vapor production. Small cap = warm and flavorful!

Now, just choose your color!!!

Ok...I've been away a few weeks. Did something change? Or, was this a typo where you meant a kick with an 18490, or an 18650 in mech mode?
Robert said he would be designing a Reo with a space to take a Kick and run on an 18650 with that Kick. The Kick will be user replaceable. It will also be able to run just on an 18650 as well by use of a spacer where the Kick would have been.

That was referencing a rumor that started with a comment from Redeyedancer

mmm I like both those black/silver and silver/blue, quite nice!

I will probably limit myself to what is available in stock with the milled down catch cup.

Silver/blue started life as metallic red, then was sandblasted. Not too much different from Robs tumbled raw, just more of a matte finish. Its a beast!
