Welcome back to vaping, and ECF. As pretty much everyone has said, it'll probably be better to start with new gear. Even if your old batteries still work, they may easily be soft from age. 900-1100 mAh batteries are cheap now and work well. Many have a 5-click to disable feature, nice to prevent pocket firing. Also, don't be too quick to dismiss high-end mods, if you find a juice you like. If you smoked very much at all, after a while you can afford any mod you want, and still be saving money.

Did someone say stardust starter kit? (Not everyone calls them stardusts)

E-Turbo Starter Kit

Nice! Only issue is that these seem to not have the markings on the side, like the gotvapes ones. Does that matter? Im worried about quality issues, Ive never heard of all of these new sellers so if mtnvapor good? Also what about their liquid? Or should I just realize that I need to buy the kit from them and some juice from somewhere else?

Also, what kinda strength would you guys suggest? I am like a 1.5-2 PAW guy. I think when I started out back in the day I had some 11mg-16mg medium and it seemed to hold out, but Im not really sure.

And BTW, THANK all of you guys so far =) Im ultra excited about getting back in to things with these way less finicky devices.

EDIT:
Since the stardust/e-tubo is pretty new and might have some issues down the road, is there any other carto's that would work with the eGO battery that are low hassle and high reputation? I keep seeing stuff about this boge or the ce-something or LR or I really dunno...

The markings are irrelevant. They serve no purpose. They're supposed to measure the amount of liquid, but it is totally incorrect to a point where it is laughable. So don't count on that as being a single sign of low quality. That's not to say I'm not guaranteeing they're high quality--GotVapes probably has the ultimate top notch of those.

It all depends on your budget on what you order from where. Pretty much every vendor does a flat rate ~5-6 box. So each person you get products for adds that much. At the same time, you want to get quality products. I got my stardusts from litecigs, only because gotvapes sells out of them within hours of restocks. But, I got other cartomizers and juice from gotvapes. However, I get most of my juice from freedomsmokeusa.
So every time I make a big order, I usually spend from 10-15 on shipping alone. But I try to buy a lot to make it worthwhile--I'll buy 200mL of liquid from one place and 5-10 packs of cartos and a spare battery from another place.

I would get some high nic juice and some medium. High nic (18+) for early morning after meals and high stress, medium (11-16) for standard cravings, but if 16 was doing if for you, then stick with it. I did 36 mg for the longest time, but I smoked roll your owns with no filters but also was at 5-8 cigs a day. It varies person to person. I have an extremely high nicotine tolerance. I'm relatively sure I could vape 50 mg and still be fine.

Filler cartos (boge/smoktech) and CE-2 (clearomizers/fluxomizers) are both very popular. Both have a different feel to them and it's a matter of testing them out. Stardusts are a variation of the CE-2 system. LR (low resistance) and dual coil cartos are the "new thing" in filler cartomizers.

Alright, sweet. I'm thinking about ordering an e-power plus some fluxomizers and the stardust from gotvapes when they have some stuff in stock. :D

It looks like the e-power is the same as a ego plus a longer lasting replaceable battery, correct? And it will work with the stardust and all the ego parts, right?

It's funny - I just posted a similar thread to yours:

I used to vape, got fed up with the hassle and now I'm giving it another try. I also just ordered a stardust but I've read some mixed reviews so we'll have to wait and see. The best juice I've had this time round is Pink Spot Vapours "G-Spot". It's yummy and full of flavour. Some people like a subtle flavour. I prefer a flavour that you can actually taste. If you're anything like that then try pink spots liquids! Much more flavour than any liquids I've had before! Happy Vaping!

If you need something for the pocket that is durable, grab some boge 2 ohm cartomizers and a cone for the battery to cover up the threads. You will have to fill more often but it will hold up in those situations that the clear/ tank/ ce2-3-4 wont. I use them for a night out at Virginia Tech (things can get crazy) and they have a great hit and flavor.
