Wanting to Start E-Cig business in Illinois

The best advice anyone can give any person who wants to start ANY kind of business in IL is two-pronged, and both points are probably not what you want to hear.
First, get a good lawyer, and start donating LOTS of money to your local politicians. EVERYTHING in IL runs on graft, bribes and "connectedness". If you don't pay, you can't play in IL. Officials will make up all sorts of regulations that you need to meet to operate a business--most of which will involve writig them and their cronies HUGE checks for "administrative fees" "Special business licenses", "special use permits" and the like--NONE of which are actually on the books. If you don't know the law inside and out, they will tell you every lie in the book to get you to hand over ever-increasing levels of baksheesh.
Second, give up on the corrupt IL political machine like most intelligent, honest, law-abiding people are starting to do, and move to a state that is actually free, and not a neo-feudalistic oligarchy run by organized crime families and Brooks Brothers suit-wearing thugs and criminals.
I hear that Afghanistan is pretty free and open, comparitively...

Yo...score.org is the best resource. They are experienced business people who basically try to 'pay it forward' by helping newbs out.
Dunno if it runs well in IL but I live in CA and I actually had a live appt. set within a week of my first email. (note: this was not for an ecig business*)
