Ok Chris is actually much cheaper and I know he has great stuff.

Yeah, Levy is cheaper for every day prices but I wasn't sure if that 15% off code would make Chris' cheaper or not.

It's spot on (as far as nic levels) I also have some MFS and some from OSDIYS (but haven't tested those out yet) BUT, I know some peeps are huge MFS fans, and I completely trust osDIYs, so .. lol.. not sure if all that helped or not!

I bought a 510 PT with the in-line battery thru the classifieds, but it didn't have the in-line battery. I thought it needed the 10440 battery so I ordered one. But, it doesn't fit, just a tiny bit too long. Can anyone tell me what I do need so I can use the PT?

I'd also like to try a 510 Carto if anyone has one to spare, but that's a want, not a need.

I bought a 510 PT with the in-line battery thru the classifieds, but it didn't have the in-line battery. I thought it needed the 10440 battery so I ordered one. But, it doesn't fit, just a tiny bit too long. Can anyone tell me what I do need so I can use the PT?

I'd also like to try a 510 Carto if anyone has one to spare, but that's a want, not a need.

I thought i had you covered and just checked my battery from my old 510 PT and it's a 10440. Where did you buy this PT? Maybe that could help figuring out what battery it takes.

She got it off classifieds.

That is weird though that yours takes the same batteries that won't fit hers... The PT is probably non-descript and will give no indication of where it's from....

You should ask the seller where he/she got it.

Oh ok, that sucks not knowing what battery it is. I know mine was very tight. I don't know of another battery that it could possibly be, without being longer or wider.

Maybe you bought a protected 10440 battery.

I haven't seen a 510 passthru in over a year but the early ones were made to take unprotected batteries.

Can you post the length(in millimetres) of the battery you have?

No they shipped with protected batterys, but the new ones are a bit longer. (2mm-3mm) You will probably have to remove the spring or trim it down but be carefull that the end won't be sharp enough to pierce the bottom of the bat.

You can check with Hoogie at MadVapes and let him know that you need one of the shorter protected 10440s. Sometimes he can find things like magic.
