well between my own ingenuity, and the modding forum, i'm sure that if the threads fit i can figure out a way to make it work...lol afterall w/ all the reading and such i've been doing when i have the spare threaded parts etc, i've got an idea for a new addy/cart design i plan to try as soon as i can figure out material issues. i just don't want to be w/o nicotine while i try to do anything like that. - could you see me try to solder with a nic-fit? or drill, cut or anything else?...lol

there is no way a 901 atty fits a 510 unless you use an adapter.

are you sure because the 901 atty connector is female and the 510 battery is female how did you connect them without an adapter?

Although they are pretty much obsolete...it could be an EM901 atty...they fit on a 510 battery

Have heard great things about Tasty Vapor juices. I can't really afford to spend $15.00 a pop to try a couple of flavors (Unemployed)...it's too bad they don't have sampler sizes. Anyhow, I would like to try a couple of their juices. Blue Bulls, Tastyfinger in particular. I have some flavors of vaporbombs juice and would be willing to trade a few samples to try out Tasty Vapors. A few suppliers,altsmokes,alien vapors ,have adaptors that are 901/808 on each end or 901 to 808.These will work,Ifound on the DSE905 where the atty connector sits to low for cartos to work.GKK/Sue

I am putting together a starter kit for a nice older lady that I know. I will be receiving an 808 battery from a PIF, and I have a few cartos and some menthol juice for her (she smokes Kools now), but I still need a battery charger. If anyone can spare a charger for a KR808, it would be much appreciated. She only has access to a computer when she is at work, and even then the USB port is not easily accessible, so if anyone has a wall charger, that would be really perfect. If not, even a USB charger could work, as I will throw in my wall adaptor for her, and just pick up another one later.

I would really like to convert this lady to vaping, as she has several health concerns (prior heart attack and diabetes) that would be much improved, but she also has an extremely stressful job, and has not been able to quit the analogs on her own.

Hi nicv! The only absolute necessity that is left is a charger. I will have one battery, a few cartos and a sample of menthol juice for her. It is not a lot, but it should get her started so she can give vaping a try.

Do you know if either of the chargers you have will for sure charge an ego battery? If so, I may want to take one off of your hands.

they're mains chargers so they would with a charging adapter* but they'd be rediculously slow like 6+ hours to charge one of the 650mAh versions ......


*in a pinch I've stacked a 510 to 901 adapter, and a 901 to 510 adapter together to charge one in a mains...

EDITED to add...I'll rig up my makeshift adapter and try em both out later on one of the eGo batteries

It's really hard for me to ask for these things but I can't afford to buy anymore, so here goes nothing.
Yesterday my universal USB wall charger blew when my lift chair dropped on it and today my 510 passthrough with an inline battery just stopped working. I think the wire came apart where it enters the "battery", I did attempt to take it apart and fix it, but it just didn't help any.
This leaves me with my only box mod, all my e9 batteries died 2 months ago
and my 510 batteries last month, I just don't have the money to replace any of these.....now no income coming in at all.
Have no health insurance and lot's of drs bills piling up from an accident I had 6/12/10 when I broke my tibia and am in a full leg brace. Can't do my job or anything I am trained to do.
I will pay it forward when I get back to work or get an income of some sort, it just won't be for awhile.....
