I am willing to pay it forward with a DSE901 kit from MaxxVapor which includes 1 atty, five cartridges with choice of blue foam or Polyfil, two batteries and a wall charger. This is for my wife's grandmother and we aren't really sure that she's going to take to filling carts otherwise we'd just send her this one.

Also, I think all you may need is an adapter. 901 and 808 are interchangeable. 808 Cartos will go on the 901.
You can use the KR8 cartos on the 901 kit, they are the same threads.
yes the 901 threads and the KR808D-1 threads are the same...I don't think you actually need an adapter...just some 808D-1 cartos...ie you can use a 901 atty on a 808d-1 battery....so you should be able to do vice versa
You would have to have an adapter for it to work. Or mod the battery with a Dremel. There has to be air holes in the battery below the threads for the cartos to work.
They should work, there are some mods with 901 connections that do not have the airholes in the thread so the 808s don't work, but there is a 901/808 adapter that takes care of that problem. Does you 901 batteries have little holes in the threads or slots across the top?

I'm in need of some good tobacco juice, preferably around the 18mg range.
I'm in the process of putting together a mini vape kit for a friend at work. He's currently in his second round battle with lung cancer, and his wife just recently got out of the hospital after another heart attack (she's had several, and her doctors attribute them to stress and cigarettes....go figure).
I've got a Blu kit (still gotta order carts), but I lack the juice to go with it. Normally I'd just buy it myself, but I'm flat broke.
I've also got plans to purchase another kit for them so they don't have to share a Blu (it prolly won't last them long between the two of them), but I've no idea when I'll have spare cash to do so, so anything anyone can donate to putting together a kit would be greatly appreciated.

It would prolly be better since they are both vape newbies, but non-tobacco may actually help make the transition faster.
I already gave him a disposable for her, and he said she liked it (actually asked for it over the cigarettes, so that's a definite step in the right direction), but the carts were tobacco flavor.
