Warning!!!!!!! Propylene glycol u.s.p ( premier 1 supplies)

I just purchased a gallon of propylene Glycol USP
Propylene Glycol (U.S.P.) - Premier1Supplies

this stuff is for animal use only. (treats ketosis in cattle).
It has a fake USP sticker on the bottle.
If you go to USP site USP Verified
you can see what the real approval stickers look like.

So unless you are a cow or sheep, I would not vape this stuff.

The DIYers on this site seem to like the PG they get from Tractor supply Company. It's USP grade and works fine. The intent is to use it mixed with medicine to inject farm animals, but it is true USP grade. It's about $25 a gallon.

Don't worry, you're safe as long as it's USP grade. USP means that its quality/purity is safe for food and pharmaceutical use.

The labelling is a bot dodgy in thet photo. the standard is <name> , USP. But if it is truly USP PG then there shouldn't be a problem at all. Propylene Glycol, USP is Propylene glycol, USP.

The photo isn't large enough for me to make out if that is actually a USP verified mark or just some fancy logo.

Not good news.
I called Aspen Veterinary resources and they said they don't really know if it's USP GRADE.
They then gave me CENTAUR another company that does the bottle packaging for them. I called Centaur, and they stated that they do not make propylene Glycol either.
I asked them why the "OFFICIAL USP STICKER AND LABEL" was not on the bottle. They said they have no comments.
Neither company was aware that we used PG in our ecigs.
I am still searching for the real manufacturer of this PG, and why it has a USP claim on the bottle.
I'm still alive, so that's a good sign...

I get my PG from Tractor Supply Company. The important thing is to carefully read the label. If it is actually USP you can safely ignore the "for animal use" warning. If it worries you you can always order from P&G chemicals.
